Is there any data on how many of the "Winter Soldiers" might actually have been KGB plants or operatives, or Americans bribed by the KGB?

From http://www.nationalreview.com/lowry/lowry200408240830.asp
Recounting the work of the so-called Winter Soldier Investigation — a since-discredited project that gathered first-person accounts of alleged atrocities from American vets — Kerry spoke of "war crimes committed in Southeast Asia, not isolated incidents, but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command." In his telling, the American war was simply a criminal undertaking. Kerry said the men "relived the absolute horror of what this country, in a sense, made them do." |

I don't think we should go there. While there may be some, or even a lot, of truth to allegations of KGB influence in the anti-war movement, to even whisper such notions causes a full suspension of thought in many, including a lot of the MSM. They will shriek "McCarthyism" and all rational discussion ends. _________________ --Mona-- |

With normalized relations with the Kremlin...those documents might be forth coming. Maybe it'll prove that kerry was an unwitting pawn, dupe of the KGB and their goals. I think we should go there...just turn our boat into the enemy and charge! Sound familiar? _________________ kerry returned to the United States on July 22, 1971, held a press conference publicly calling on President Nixon... for the surrender of the United States to North Vietnam. |

The facts are there that a number of the people whos testimony was used were Posers or not even affiliated with or offer Testimony to the Winter Soldier cause.
Kerry testified before the Senate using false testimony from phonies, non exsistent people and people who had made no such comments.
We do not need to imply anything about the KGB being involved, there is enough wrong with that entire disgrace to begin with.
Now Kerry meeting in Paris with the N. Vietnamese is another story all together. _________________ U.S. Army 1983-1995, 11C1P/11H2P NBTDT |
