Mark Belling, a conservative talk-show host here (sometimes subs for Rush) said on his show today that he heard Kerry is going to be coming out with an admission that his first Purple Heart was self-inflicted. He said he got word that the official documents surrounding this action were leaked. He also opined that it would force Kerry to admit it and that they would try to turn the issue to who had leaked the documents.
Mark Belling is often right on these insights. Stay tuned. |

Hey, If that is true then our military should send him back to Vietnam to finish out his tour like all of Vietnam Veterans did. Maybe we can find him a POW camp to stay at and Jane Fonda can visit him. |

Maybe Paul Hamm will keep his gold, John Kerry's silver will become a bronze and he will give his bronze to the Korean. After all, John didn't want his medals years ago anyway and clearly the Koreans want more medals now. |

Yes, if there is proof he falsified documents to get ANY of those Purple Hearts, then used the fact he had 3 to get out of combat duty, it's a charge that would be equal to desertion. I'd sentence him to 9 months community service in the Mekong Delta, beginning next Monday, or 10 years in prison. Seriously, though, that kind of admission will bring his whole "war hero" story to an abrupt end, because the media loves something like "is it true you used a false report to get out of combat, leaving your Band of Brothers to face the enemy alone?" Spin that, John. |

I'd fall over dead if the media ever did something like that, I can hope like you, but they'll find a spin. |
