World Net Daily reports that the chairman of the Federal Elections Commission, Bradley Smith, defends the right of the SBVT to state their views. His quote:

"I think it's great we live in a country where 260 average guys can go out and put their point of view out there before the public and influence a major presidential race,'' Smith said in an interview with Bloomberg television. "I am not one who agrees it is illegitimate for citizens to take a stand on these kind of issues and only the politicians should be able to say what they want about the issues they want to talk about.''

Great news--the FEC won't shut down SBVT!

It was a joke that Kerry et al. decided to file a complaint in the first place. Any average person will conclude that Kerry is a coward that runs to big brother for help and yells "Make them stop!" He was a coward then, he remains a coward now.

Kerry's 4-6 month tour (<-depends who ya ask) and his 30+ years in government are remarkably similiar. He has lied and flopped on each. There is a pattern of biting the hand that feeds him, he turns on himself, his men, and most importantly his country!!
