Oh brother.....trust AP to totally screw this up.
I HAVE the command log for CoastDiv11 (at least what Kerry would release). Please note that the report says that the group was fired along the banks of the Hap River on 13 Mar 1969.
This is not in dispute.
However, what is in dispute was whether or not they were fired upon...heavy fire at that...during the incident where Rasmann was rescued. The damage and casualty reports pretty plainly state that this simply could not have been the case.
Trust AP to make this look like a big win for Kerry when it's not...and if you look carefully it is an AP not a Fox news story. _________________ -Polaris
