This forum isn't about 527s.

It's about ensuring Kerry doesn't become the CIC because he is unfit to command. Period.

TruthCanHurt, you're probably 100% correct. But, this board isn't about supporting or advising the President - it's about supporting the Swifts and promoting their message.

I could easily imagine a debate this fall, where a moderator asks:

"Mr. President, Senator Kerry claims that he is better suited to send American soldiers into war because he served in Vietnam and you did not. How do you respond?"

Suggested response for President Bush:

"I have always said that all Vietnam veterans served honorably, including my opponent. But my opponent is on record saying that Vietnam veterans cut off ears and heads and razed villages. Perhaps he should explain what he meant to our brave Vietnam veterans."

I'm not sure that President Bush would want to "go there", but it would get him elected!
