Kerry Renews Call for Rumsfeld's Resignation

GREEN BAY, Wis. (Reuters) - Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry renewed his call on Wednesday for Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's resignation and said the official investigation into abuses at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison demonstrated a failure of civilian leadership.
"It's about leadership and it's about accountability," Kerry told supporters packed into a Philadelphia steamfitters' union hall where he spoke before traveling to Wisconsin.
Americans "want the truth and they want accountability," he said. |

Whatever happened to "truth and accountability" to 2.5 million Vietnam veterans who were disaparaged by lies and slander told to the Senate and the American people?

No sane man would say such a thing while simultaneously practicing the exact opposite in full view of all. Kerry is now his own worst enemy.
SBVT have once again done a great service to the nation by giving us a glimpse of what a Kerry presidency would have been like. Bush would have played patty-cake with Kerry till election day and lost. Proving once again that appeasing the opposition is a sure road to self-destruction.
This election is NOT about Iraq, terror, the economy or deficit, regardless of what Bush and the RNC would like us to think. Those are now small potatoes compared to the threat posed by the candidacy of John F Kerry.
