The vast majority of the stories are about Ginsberg, Cleland 'trying', Veteran smears, O'Neil's Camobida "lie", Bush paying the price, Bush and the GOP being behind this,and now McCain blaming the SBVFT for bringing up Vietnam, which they didn't.
How in the world can these people call themselves journalists without doing some basic fact-checking on the credibility of the evidence put forth?
And why wouldn't they pressure Kerry to answer some of these charges flat-out? It has yet to happen! Not even a mention of Form 180 and Bush's choice to sign his.
The media is fighting for their guy Kerry. And they're not going to let up easy. That has become obvious. |

I just keep reminding them over and over (& will continue to) that if they haven't watched the May Press Conference they haven't even begun to understand what the SBVFT mission is all about. It's right here on the 1st page. Just watch the video and then read the book and then maybe you'll ask some questions that make sense!! ARRGGH ! 
I hear on one channel the SBV lawyer that stepped down from the Bush campaign explaining exactly what that was all about and that there's nothing wrong with what he was doing and that the other side is doing it big time --- and I flip channels and I hear a woman with an angry, twisted face spitting out "the Bush campaign had to fire their lawyer today...." Stepford hosts? POD-PEOPLE or what? |

Actually what amazes (and heartens) me most is that many...even most Americans can still make reasonably sensible decisions and judgements in spite of the constant barrage of biased media coverage. I have known for a long time that the media was slanted left, but until this I had no idea it had become our version of Pravda and Isvestia.

I knew that, too, but it didn't seem so OBVIOUS as it does now. I watched on C-Span, earlier this year, more than one gathering where the Press analyzed itself on its coverage on the war, on politics, etc, etc. Were they fair, were they good journalists. What were they doing wrong and how could they do their jobs better. And I thought -- good, they are looking at themselves critically. But in the end, it generally amounted to a consensus that all of them were doing a tremendous job and there were many pats on the back. It was a love fest. And here we are now, suddenly demanding that they be truthful and it seems they are getting worse -- !!! |
