Gentlemen,
You are forgetting the group that does not care about anything but beating Bush --- so anything you say about Kerry --- including the truth does not matter.
They are the ones the respond to every truth about Kerry with the response "Bush did blah blah blah blah".
Their minds are permanently turned to stone, and they have no hearts for anything but their own interests.
Good luck --- my money is with you. |

jataylor11,
You are absolutly correct: the battle is for the undecideds, the independents, and those that just start paying attention about now, not the ABB's. They are so full of hate they can see nothing.
But look at the good we have done so far: the veterans of the nation, who Kerry thought he had in his back pocket, are bailing out on him in droves.
Our continued outing of Kerry's web of self serving lies will keep turning votes until election day, and if the vote is as close as they say, each and every one will count. Once his record of America hating in the Senate is revealed in all it's infamy, I think we can keep the momentum going.
We have to make sure the Dems do not challenge the votes of our servicemen overseas again either. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

NortonPete,
I think you're right on.
My son, (31yrs. vet ,Hates Bush) came to dinner 2 nights ago.
I took him to my computer, played Kerry's Confession of atrocious, he read the testimony.
I ask him to picture an America where strangers waited at airports to defile returning vets. An America in which churches, when they sought solace, shunned them. Where the congress of this country had to pass laws, to guarantee them the right to jobs.
He had no idea. Those times are history for him. He knows now,and he's is disgusted.
Many in this country have no understanding the depth of emotion in this issue.
My son does now. |

DEL ---
I forgot when the Veterans preference arose. Thank you for the reminder. Prior to Vietnam and Kerry's VVAW, veterans had an unspoken (and deserved) preference. After Kerry and the VVAW the preference (deserved, earned, merited) had to be legislated. |

Education and knowledge are very important factors for this situation. Explain to people who don't understand why there is so much anger, believe it or not alot of people just don't get it. This election for me is important enough that if Kerry wins I will not re-enlist, he is no Commander in Chief to me! _________________ NEVER RELENT WHEN THE ENEMY IS ON THE RUN!

You didn't even need to be a Veteran that served in Vietnam to be disliked and discriminated against.
As mentioned before in an email to John McCain, my brother served in
Germany around 69-72 timeframe. He was drafted as soon as he completed
a four year college degree.
He came back and couldn't understand why everyone thought he had
committed atrocities. He couldn't get an interview for job when his
resume showed he had been in the service.
Anyone who was a Veteran got the same rap thanks to Kerry's
blanket comments. "all units all levels of command involved in war crimes" |

This is my 1st post. I hope I've done it correctly.
Here is a great article by Mark Steyn: Kerry's Quagmire for The Spectator (U.K.) - I'm only posting the link, because the article is longer than any I've seen so far (haven't seen them all). http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1199919/posts
Also a cartoon from yesterday

www.coxandforkum.com always has well-drawn comics and zinger commentary - there are several about the Swifts, there. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

I can't agree more with the Firs Sergeant. We have to watch our six and keep on the offense. To paraphrase George C. Scott as Patton "We have to grab Kerry by the nose and kick him in the ass all the way back to MA. _________________ 6 Year Navy |

You're right! They have good commentaries. I hadn't been there before.
Thank you!
