Hpe I'm posting this to the right place.
I know this is off topic, I know it's not about the SBVFT message, but it's something that needs to be seen by all, something I never could have imagined would be happening in this country and yes it has to do with our elections. Below is a link to a foxnews artical about how 13 congressman have gotten approvel to have our elections "montored" by the UN.

There is actually a new twist to it. Hastings, the federal judge and die hard democrat that said bush will do anything to steal this election, and got impeached for taking a 150k bribe, has been elected by the OSCE to head the committee. _________________ Dragoro's Realm

They have no real say in anything though and they've actually monitored some state elections before although no national ones. Not that I like it by the way. |

Guys & Gals...Please let me explain this to you. This happens every election cycle and it is meant for countries to view our voting process to better themselves in how they do it in their own countries. The difference is this election the Dems against Bush are making it sound as if its a monitoring issue when its no different then any other viewing that has taken place in the last 200 years. This is all about democratic, socialist, communist, and totalitarian countries having the ability to bear witness to our system. What is changing though is the fact that most of the Dems against Bush in this country are no different then the socialist, communist and totalitarians that have for the last 200 years come to view our process. What everyone should be worried about is the way the Dems against Bush align themselves with these people our country has always allowed to view the process in order to better the rest of the world, yet now the Dems against Bush have decided to use for political leftist gain. Make no mistake our country has always shown the high road and allowed everyone access to our system even if they mean harm. Not until this election has a party within our country actually become insurgent and in alliance with the factions we oppose outside of our borders.
Thats Dems against Bush for ya tho! _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

Okay, let's keep the level of invective down - "Democrats" "dummycrats," etc. is counterproductive.
We have an awful lot of Democrats with us who detest Kerry and they should not feel like they're in a hostile environment.
The mission comes before any party, okay? _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Navy 3,
I agree and edited my original post to better reflect my point of view without invective commentary.
Just gets me mad because this process has been going on since the 1780's after we declared our independence from the British and the French had their revolution. The french would send teams of so-called high ranking officials to the United States to view our process and then return back to France declaring our problems yet not addressing their own. This seems to be the protocol for all countries since, yet what really gets me mad now is for the first time in our history we have people within our own political party system using this for political gain. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

Good to go - what you have to remember is that many registered Democrats are actually quite conservative and they are dismayed and unhappy at the turn in their party toward the socialist agendas.
Look at the platform on the site for the Communist Party USA - www.cpusa.com and see what differences you can spot between that and the Democratic party. There's even a socialist caucus of 58 Congressmen.
They're not happy with GWB, but they're not happy with the direction their own party has taken either.
And too, some of these people are third and fourth generation Democrats and they don't understand that their party has been hijacked. They're still thinking FDR and the real JFK.
So, in this election, unless they're veterans or families of veterans and they understand what it is that John Kerry has done - they're feeling stuck.
Just some middle of the night ramblings. It's really up to us to explain why we feel so strongly about not allowing this pretender to the Presidency to EVER wield any more authority over the Armed Forces than he already has.
We all have to become teachers. You probably have an even stronger awareness of this in your generation. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Navy 3,
I completely agree. As you said it is late at night and my emotions rather then logic got the better of me. As you have might have seen from previous posts many of my families friends and family are Truman or FDR democrats and it is really hard to explain especially to a world war II veteran that the democratic party this year is nothing like those democrats parties.
I want a healthy Democratic and Republican party especially during war! _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

You got it! I think we'd all want that. Or even a three-party-system.
What's happening now is nearing civil war... at exactly the time when we need to be pulling together. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
