Seems there's acknowledgement of questions over the Silver Star:

Apparently it's been confirmed by the Navy that regulations do not allow the use of a combat V for the Silver Star.

I suggest the swiftys concentrate on the purple heart, cambodia and after Nam issues. It is to easy for the MSM to cloudy up the bronze and silver star episodes.

I respectfully disagree.
It indicates that records are obviously doctored.

IMO, if he lied about one, he must have lied about all of them. The American Legion needs to ask one or two questions from the Swiftee list. Perhaps he'll trip again.

The best part of this article is the reiteration of the fact that the file contains an estimated 94 pages of documentation that the "newspapers" that did the research were unable to obtain via their FOIA request....This is the part of the story that I would like to hear repeated over and over again by the MSM...I won't be holding my breath...
