Kerry had every right to protest the war. There are many anti-war activists right now over Iraq. that's not the point.
he was not satisfied with being just another protester, he needed shock value to get his name out front (political ambition). So, out came the "atrocities". boy, did it ever work! he was famous. so what if a few vets got spit on or something, no big deal. he was on a mission.
today's protesters have a right to their opinions (I don't happen to share them); however, if they were to start accusing our guys of atrocities it would be a whole different ball game. Some of course tried with the prison scandal, but since there is too much media to prove these abuses were very limited, it didn't fly. |
