The VP debate is going to be the best debate of the season with Cheney thumping Edwards. Here’s a preview:

Moderator: Mr. Vice President what do you think the problem is regarding rising Health Care costs in the country and what do you plan to do about it?

Cheney: We the problem actually is very simple. He’s sitting right there (pointing to Edwards). Frivolous lawsuits brought by trial lawyers, supported by junk science, are putting honest doctors out of business, the exponential rise in malpractice insurance has to end, which is why we need to address torte reform on medical lawsuits.

Edwards: Uhhhhh….

Moderator: Ok let’s move on. Regarding a nationwide energy crisis, what policies are damaging our energy needs and how would you implement a change to lower our country’s dependency on foreign oil?

Cheney: I’m sorry to be redundant but once again He’s sitting right there (pointing to Edwards). The nation is being hijacked by the knee jerk environmental crowd, which is supported by, you guessed it, trial lawyers. Listen, if we would have drilled in ANWR when it was originally proposed, by the Reagan Administration in the 80’s, normal Americans wouldn’t be paying $2.50 a gallon for gas today. The good unintended consequence of this is our economy wouldn’t be as vulnerable to terrorist attack.

Edwards: Uhhhh

uh, who is this fellow you are speaking about? Did you say Edwards?

I have not seen or heard much of lately, has anyone? It would seem
they are keeping him out of the news and events. Wonder why? I think
it is because he is too smiley for gloomy guts, and he does not like that.

From what I see Edwards is adding nothing to the candidates winning
ways. Wink

Accordng to Sean Hannity, Kerry's running-mate is a man named Stu Pedd. Am I missing something here? Who's this Edwards guy?
