Your ad is striking! I like it a lot. It does, though, go in a different direction than the SwiftBoat Vets have gone (so far) in that it goes beyond informing folks of Kerry's prevarications (lies) and right to connecting his past to a current issue. I do have reservations about the idea of bringing up Abu Graib in that doing so may redirect the attention on Kerry's lies to the other issue, that of Abu Graib. I might simply ask, Would you want to put a confessed war criminal in charge of our armed forces? _________________ Veritas |

Doug,
One more suggestion; see if you can find the interview where John Kerry stated that he, too, committed war crimes such as the ones to which he testified before Congress. Start with that (i.e. Kerry's own words).
Then ask "Would you want a confessed war criminal...(fill in as necessary)".
What do you think?

How about a movie of a U. S. Naval officer walking into UBL's tent and discussing peace on UBL's terms then have someone read off Article 104 of the UCMJ below. Last pic would be a young soldier or marine wounded in Iraq with the caption.....Is This the Kind of President you want leading your troops?
UCMJ, Article 104
Text. “Any person who—
(1) aids, or attempts to aid, the enemy with arms, ammunition, supplies, money, or other things; or
(2) without proper authority, knowingly harbors or protects or gives intelligence to or communicates or corresponds with or holds any intercourse with the enemy, either directly or indirectly; shall suffer death or such other punishment as a court-martial or military commission may direct.” |
