Great. I love it like the first two. Totally debunks so many of the kerry spins on SBVT ads 1 and 2 that the media lapped up like dogs. The first two ads had the kerry camp peeing their pants, I can't imagine what this one will make them think. That's the way to do it! Don't let them catch their breath! Hit them OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER till they're down on the mat and not even trying to get up. Smile

I agree with what someone said in page 1 that an ad showing his direct involvement with the North Vietnamese, and how it hurt our troops and especailly the POWs would be a great ad. And also, it would be SOOOOOOOO GOOD to have a new ad with the SBVT members that kerry called on the phone a few days ago, attesting to the fact that he called and what he said! That would prove that he willingly broke Campaign Finance Reform Law and didn't care! That being shown in Florida, Missouri, Wisconsin, Ohip, and Pennsylvania would do IMMENSE damage to kerry's campaign. "How can he be President when he can't even obey a law that he voted to pass in the Senate?" That SOOOO badly needs to be a Swift Vets ad!

I want to thank rbshirley for posting the map of part of South Vietnam and Cambodia.

But I'm wondering--Kerry was at An Thoi for a short time, which according to the map is an island which faces the border area between Vietnam and Cambodia. Could Kerry have sailed out from An Thoi and gone to Cambodia BY ACCIDENT?

Somebody who was there with Kerry in An Thoi needs to check this out!

Gardner was on board until 23 January 69 and says it didn't happen. No one else on the 44 Crew has come out saying they were in Cambodia..

The Crew of 94 hasn't supported any allegation of Cambodia from 30 Jan 69 through 13 Mar 69. Silence from what's left of the Band of Brothers as Alston has been proven a liar and sent quietly home.

Great ad, but I would keep it for internet use and not spend a lot of money on it as Kerry's Christmas in Cambodia story has already been debunked.

JMO, but I think it's time to focus efforts and money on the things Kerry has done since returning from Vietnam. You guys have shown The Poodle to be a liar, now I think it's time to show how his post war behavior affected people and the nation and that the behavior continued in a 19-year dovish, anti-military voting record. The second ad is great, and I'd sure like to see a continuance of it.

Exactly right. I've been saying the same thing on here. Splice Kerry's statement onto the start of the Gardner ad and it's 10X more damaging. People seeing that will think WTF? Make them think.

The most important thing about the swift boat ads is that they are the only way these guys have of getting the story out without interruption from the MSM. This ad did 2 things: 1) it showed that not all the guys on his boat back his bs and 2) it showed that he clearly lied on 1 issue. All the different purple hearts are confusing people and Kerry's surrogates are pumping 2 issues: 1) it's all lies and 2) it's all coming from Bush. Who cares if its coming from Bush (even though it isn't) if it's all true. Simplifying and showing that some of it is true will lead people to spend the time to see just how much of it is true. So, from that perspective it is a good ad, but needs to be followed up by a lot more and that's why I keep donating money to these guys... We are all swiftees, now!!

The one thing they could have added was a clip of Kerry speaking about Christmas in Cambodia. For the future, I would like to see an ad which basically asks about filing for your own purple hearts based on your own after action reports and bringing your own video camera to Vietnam. Boy, wouldn't it be nice if we could all write our own reviews then go ask for our next promotion.....
