I routinely watch the news carefully, including CNN and News World International and there is no question he is a waffler. For example, Bush took a stand on abortion and "Pro-life." Though I personally believe "pro-choice," I respect Bush's position. But where does Kerry stand? I saw a bit on TV where Kerry stated he is "pro-choice" but against abortion. How stupid must we be to make sense from that?
I saw his side-kick Edwards speak out and say he as a trial lawyer who stood up for the little guy and fought the HMO insurance company. What absolute baloney! How many Ob-Gyn doctors did he sue for alleged birth defects and either put them out of business or have them no longer doing Obstetrics back in North Carolina? We surely have the best-trained, or toe to toe as the best-trained Obstetric physicians in the world. I am sure there are thousands of less-trained Ob docs around the world continuing to do Ob work and yet some of the best-trained Ob docs in this country choose to limit their practice to Gyn work only, not Ob because of the greedy, self-indulgent personal injury attorneys like Edwards ruining our economic system and clearly jeapordizing our medical community. Edwards and attorneys like him are termites eroding our economic stucture, certainly doing more harm than any good.
In terms of Kerry, I would like to see the SwiftVets take some very pointed questions and stick to them...the news networks favoring Kerry are apt to allow very little time to detail the argument of the SwiftVets. Here might be some of these pointed questions..
1. Were any of John Kerry's purple hearts due to a self-inflicted wound while there was no hostile fire at the time and none of his injuries required one hospital day stay?
2. Is it true Kerry left the scene of battle when another swift boat was badly damaged and other swift boats remained to provide suppression fire and support the boat lying still in the water?
3. Was Rasserman, the soldier John Kerry pulled out of the water, the same soldier who fell out of Kerry's swift boat as Kerry fled from that scene?
3. Kerry claimed he did missions into Cambodia. Does he continue to claim this?
4. Kerry and Edwards were two of the four congressmans who voted against the support for Kuait when they were invaded by Saddam Hussain? What friendly countries will trust we will support them in a genuine crisis with Kerry/Edwards in office?
5. Is it likely years ago, when Reagan took office after Carter, the change of president prompted Iranians to surrender their hostages? Is it true Reagan was preparing a pre-emptive strike on Iran that might have changed their posture with the USA very quickly?
6. Is it true terrorists started planning of the "911" disaster as far back as 1996 when Clinton was in office?
7. Is it true thousands of terrorists were trained and dispersed aound the world during the 1990's when Clinton was president?
8. Does anyone honestly believe that Kerry/Edwards will bring peace and not prompt more hostility and threat in the world than if the "gunfighter" Bush stays in office?
9. Who thinks Libya would have surrendered up their weapons and WMD
if Kerry was in office?
10. Does anyone honestly believe Kerry will do a better job containing North Korea withe their new nuclear capability or Iran with their emerging nuclear capability?

What does this all translate into? Kerry's concept of a "New Soldier" and how he might be viewed around the world will encourage more terrorism around the world, not lessen it. Moreover, John Edwards being part of a team to improve our Health Industry is like having Hitler being part of Germany's Welcome committee for immagrant Jews.

Numbers 5-10 would be innapropriate questions on behalf of the Swift Boat Vets, they have no connection to Vietnam or Kerrys Post Vietnam Activities.Those are subjects others will be sure to address.
Rassman did fall off of Kerrys boat, that is not disputed.
As to Cambodia it depends on wich Kerry Rep you listen to. He was Either not there, was there, or near there despite no one else on his crew rmembering this and denying they ever were there.
Kerrys own Diary conflicts wih later statements and his PH awards. Kerrys Campaign has acknowledged that the first PH was possibly "the result of an unintentional self inflicted wound".
