I wish the SwiftVets would start pointing out whenever the bronze star incident is being discussed, as it is now on Scarborough country, that the FRIGGIN RESCUE AND RECOVERY OPERATIONS FOR PCF THREE TOOK OVER A FRIGGIN' HOUR!!!!!
Somehow, people keep missing that or not bringing it up. If the WHOLE POINT of the MSM's counterattack is that there WAS enemy fire because the citations SAY so, the SwiftVet's should counter that 'We sat there on that spot giving first aid to the PCF 3 crewman and trying to keep their boat from sinking and we were there for over an hour doing so AND IF ANYBODY WAS SHOOTING AT US WE'D FRIGGIN' REMEMBER IT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Next friggin' question!

Yep. This one frustrates me, too. As well as not pointing out that the the whole "no man left behind" version is suddenly gone, too.
Hammer these point home!!!!!!! _________________ Talking point #1: Sign 180

Your right over an hour working on the 3 boat and no one and no boat is hit. A blind person could have hit someting in that time the way the boats would have been around the 3 boat. Also I believe the area they were in was no more than 75 - 80 yards wide. Robert E Lambert backs Kerry that they came under fire and "that his commander was to distracted to notice the gunfire" I think Lambert was on Thurlo's boat.
No one seems to raise the no hits with the amount of time they were there and I cannot understand why.

Don't forget Kerry is claiming that on his return from his little jaunt down the river after the mine went off under the PCF 3 boat, he
RAN A GAUNTLET OF ENEMY FIRE ALMOST 3 MILES LONG.
Then, miraculously, at the end of that gauntlet, he heroically rescues Rassman while the bullet's from the banks whine over his head, and then
suddenly, for the next hour and a half, the shooting.....................
AMAZINGLY STOPS!
The 4 Swiftboats then do their R & R of PCF 3 and then leisurely tow it home without so much as a single bullet being fired at them!
It's one of the biggest miracles of modern warfare!

If there was a miracle that day it was Kerry coming back. Wonder what made him turn around.

The only thing that would make the tale any better would be for kerry to proclaim he "walked on water" to get to Rassmann. |

In Kerry's mind he does walk on water.

I'm sure if someone asked Kerry he would say he healed Mr. Rassman right there on his bullet riddled boat. After healing Rassman and telling him to go and swim no more Saint Kerry then went on to heal his boat, removing all signs of the battle just to save his support crew the trouble.

According to Unfit For Comand, Kerry jumped on the boat taking the injured men from the #3 boat out to the Coast Guard Cutter off shore, leaving "the few remaining" officers to save the #3 boat. Certainly the OIC of the boat taking the wounded out to the cutter would have a very good idea of Kerry's wounds. Again according to Unfit For Command, Kerry's actions were discussed that night at the base and that one of Kerry's fellow officer told Kerry that it might be better for everybody if Kerry "just left". Too me, this is the most damming information concerning Kerry's Veitnam conduct and if he abandoned his boat while it was under fire, his conduct is much worse. In the first ad, the officer who saved the #3 boat did say that "When the chips were down, you couldn't count on John Kerry". I'm assuming he was taking about this incident. |

Kerry gunned the boat and Rassmann was thrown off....He had to give up his running away to go back for Rassmann... _________________ "John (F) Kerry = "Talk the Talk"
