Is it me or does the MSM have complete disregard for us? Why do they love reporting death and destruction and not all the good we have done? Why not speak of all the good our Vets of the past have done and continue to do? I know I wouldn't be the man I am without you guys, you taught me to be an honorable soldier. It is really hurtful for my generation to see what these a-holes say about you, we wear the same uniforms and honor your service, you should always know this. I was taught early that we win every battle one by one, we win the war together!!!!!! _________________ NEVER RELENT WHEN THE ENEMY IS ON THE RUN!

Sir,
The Leftists, girlie men, anti-American radical militants, and other assorted intellectually perverse species of idiots that control the MSM (a.k.a. Fogosphere) have far more than simple disregard for the military.
They have contempt bordering on murderous intent. Their newsreporting could not be more finely-adjusted to make the serviceman or servicewoman's life even riskier than it is, in terms of getting scragged from every window in the street by disinformed civilians in the countries where we fight.
The "resistance" in Iraq, for example, is largely fueled by media disinformation, selective omission (e.g., of positive news about good things being done), and quite targeted commission (e.g., reporting on Abu Ghraib as if it were Auschwitz).

Here's the problem in a nutshell. He admited to committing atrocities then and he's committed atrocities now...ex. Pull the troops in six months...He is absolutely insane, HE HAS JUST ENDANGERED EVERYONE (IRAQ and AMERICAN)..If this man wins, we will lose. CIC material??? He just doesn't know when to shut up........ _________________ NEVER RELENT WHEN THE ENEMY IS ON THE RUN!

IMO, nothing has changed since THE war except the MSM has moved more to the left and the non-military citizens have grown older. Hanoi Jane and Flipper John have etched and stained their biases indelibly into the personalities of an entire generation of non-military citizens. The cheesy punks who took to the streets 35 years ago won't change and their children seem eerily like them. They even continue to disparage the veterans who served 35 years ago -- but they are fewer and they are different. I've not seen them disparage veterans of current wars. Thus, I believe they have doubts deep in their souls. Stay the course and in time the stain will wear away. For now, we must be satisfied with defeating Flipper John. _________________ '58 Airedale HMR(L)-261 VMO-2 |

The anti-war crowd is pulling a P.R. stunt with their silence regarding the veterans of the Guft War and the current Iraq War. They don't want to become alienated from the public's good will so they hold their tongues in order to advance their agenda. But notice how the Vietnam Veterans are still fair game. The Vietnam War is part of history now, so they're free to say what they want. Therefore, Swift Boat Veterans and those who support them are DELUSIONAL, DISHONEST, DISRESPECTFUL, LIARS, OVER-THE-HILL WARRIORS on one last mission, and et cetera. |

"Reckless Disregard" by Buzz Patterson.
"Let Freedom Ring" by Sean Hannity
"Bias" by Bernard Goldberg
Just three of many good books that will let you inside the real agenda for the leftstream media.
It goes beyond disrespect for the military - as became rather clear during CNN's coverage of GW1, the absolute discreditation of the military and even it's destruction is part of the plan.
Read the platform at www.cpusa.com and tell me just how it differs from the leftists in this country?
There are 58 "Progressives" (socialists) in our Congress.
There are very few Democratic Congressmen who are strong on defense in the manner of Joe Lieberman or Zell Miller.
Read that communist party stuff and tell me just how far apart they are from the leftist who have taken over the Democratic party. It will scare the heqq out of you! _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
