If you ever find yourself on Maryland 495 get off on the Conneticut Ave, south exit and you will drive through the enclaves of Chevy Chase and Cleveland Park. In that 8 mile stretch resides an infestation of Washington based pundits and various associates. One on one most of them are as docile and congenial as a Labrador Retreiver, in a group they are as lethal as a pack of jackals. They are almost all pro-Kerry, anti-Bush, ( except for a little mole who has penetrated their inner-sanctum ) and they are deeply worried about the Swiift Boat Veterans for the Truth. They are beginning to devise a strategy to deal with them and it includes, ignore them when possible, deny them a forum, find out who contributes to them and use people like Lt. General Claudia Kennedy and democrat operative and historian, Douglas Brinkley to demean and discredit them. I asked my mole informant if some of these people are getting compensated for doing John Kerry`s dirty work for him. She said she didn`t know for sure but was willing to bet a case of Heinz catsup that they are.

Wow, you've even found the geographic epicenter of this conspiracy to destroy SVFT! It must be true!

And for awhile there, I thought the reason SVFT was languishing as a story was because the public sees through it as a smear campaign by the same kind of scum who brought us Willie Horton and McCain's whisper campaign of interracial love.
