I wonder if Sean Hannity's interviews with MTV devotees, indicating a strong support for Jim Kerney and Stu Padd, influenced this swing. Perhaps the smarter MTV followers were embarrassed by their nitwit leaders. _________________ '58 Airedale HMR(L)-261 VMO-2 |

CandyM, if you think that was "rude and tasteless," what's your opinion of the New Soldier? _________________ '58 Airedale HMR(L)-261 VMO-2 |

Even if only half the crowd booed them, I would take that as a victory from a crowd expected to be virtually all Dems. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

Is booing a guys daughters rude? Absolutely.
But haven't they kind of asked for it? I mean, the self righteous, pompous pro-nanny state attitude (most graphicly exemplified by them 'shushing' the audience like a bunch of three year olds) is a bit provocative.
Even if it wasn't a nice thing to do, the look on their faces is priceless. _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on? Take this quiz and decide for yourself.

As this subject is currently being discussed by Rush Limbaugh, I am re-opening it for forum discussion.
Thanks |

Watch em spin it the booing was because Alexandra wasn't wearing THAT DRESS LOL!
Sorry girls. Your dad smeared millions of honorable people for personal gain. People are mad. Suggest you avoid crowds for a while.

I agree wholeheartedly. I don't like their father (politically or otherwise) but I have no beef with his children. Okay, I wouldn't have clapped and cheered wildly had I been there - that would have been reserved for Weird Al Yankovic - but at least I would have been respectful. _________________

I have a beef with anyone passing out the kool-aid.
You are far better folks than I am.

I hope it is as depicted. More irony that so much of the youth which turned it's back on VN vets 30 years ago is now offset by todays youth not falling lockstep into the diatribe of the left. I guess this new generation X has learned more civics than I had expected.

CandiM is a solid Swiftee supporter who expressed an opinion (albeit incorrect re the Bush girls reaction). Let's move on, please, and focus on Kerry. _________________ -- Bill in Seattle |

CandiM is good people... She simply thought, perhaps correctly, that it was rude to "boo" the Kerry kids.
I'd have a problem with boo-ing anyone because of a family relation...
It's when they solicited the vote that they (IMHO) became fair game for public opinion.
