I am reading his book right now. General Tommy Franks is an exceptional leader...I couldn't be more impressed.

I don't as a general rule, like to see officers, even retired officers, use their rank for political purposes like this...but it's a grey area. Really the reg just prohibits them from criticizing the sitting President & cabinet, etc.

Hey, while typing this I just heard the General say he BELIEVES the Swift Vets! Very Happy

I cannot imagine any veteran of any service having any interest in voting for Kerry...except maybe Rassman, who's on the Kerry Campaign payroll.

Even he may change his mind.

Wasn't he just great!! I have one of the most precious photo's when Franks was aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln giving a speech, my son was standing right in front of him. Afterwards he even got to meet him. My son thinks he is ONE of the greatest and speaks highly of Franks.
