===========================================
Interviewer: How many did you give back John?
Kerry: I gave back I can not remember 6 7 8 9 at the time
Interviewer: Well you were awarded Bronze Star Silver Star and 3 purple hearts
Kerry: Well above that I gave back my others |
Did Kerry get any other medals? If he didn't get any other medals, then "others" definitely means his ribbons. Which means he threw both his medals and ribbons. |
His other medals were probably his unit citations: Gallantry Cross Metal, National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service Metal, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Metal. Those would be 6 through 9. |

I just watched it. Here are my observations
Kerry is amazed that soldiers are taught to kill. [would he prefer they learn to pay ping-pong?}
Kerry defines war as "settling political differences by killing people.:
Nuanced? Yes. I am sorry, the man was and is naive to the extreme. The word sensitive perfectly describes Kerry. In my opnion Kerry is motivated by and acts upon feelings rather than facts. He has the mindset of an ultra-liberal and should be an artiste, not a commander in chief. I think we should all listen carefully to his words to see how often descriptions of "feelings" seem to drive him. _________________ Nomorelies Make a donation HERE |

I caught that as well... he says it was before the first draft cards were burned. On his enlistment contract found on his website, it clearly says that the date of enlistement is 2/18/66.

Sheesh... can this man get ANYTHING right. |

Nope. He is definitely confused. As you can tell from the Christmas in Cambodia story, he definitely gets his years (perhas decades) confused. I caught the 1965 date and though something sounded fishy. _________________ Nomorelies Make a donation HERE |

One question from the interviewer particularly stood out for me... At 2:53 she asks Kerry "Was there ever any question about you being dishonorably discharged?". Kerry replies "Oh no. No. That has never been questioned."
What's up with that? Was she inquiring about a report that he was dishonorably discharged? Was she implying that perhaps he could have been dishonorably discharged? Very interesting. _________________ US Army 75-78

One other thing that should be looked into among the group of VVAW is whether or not in the meeting that was held by this group to create this strategy is whether or not Kerry actually WAS AGAINST the tossing of the medals as he has said.
If he were true to his form, then he would naturally be a promoter of this, and he would have actively encouraged the others to toss THEIR medals, but then not participate himself.
This is what a Hypocrite does.
It reminds me of the story of the tortoise and the scorpion.
This is why THIS Democrat supports you Veterans. I believe that O'Neall has told the truth, and I don't like scorpions.

Kerry's folks are fond of claiming that his Senate committee testimony was merely a report of that others said.
This phony defense has little effect, since Kerry clearly gave the testimony in an authoritative manner that made clear his believe in that testimony and in a style that quickly blurred such distinctions.
BUT:
In "Tour of Duty" (pp. 117-124) Kerry attends SERE (survival, evasion, resistance, and escape) training in which he was taught (and remembers 35 years later) that even COUNTING PUSH-UPS was dangerous.
Why? Because the enemy would tape record the counting -- then cut the tape to produce exchanges such as "How many people did your men massacre?" "ten-twelve"....
Kerry KNEW that anything he said could be cut this way and played in POW camps in Hanoi.
It was not just an accident that his words were used in the POW camps, Kerry had CONSCIOUS PRIOR KNOWLEDGE of how those words would be used.
KERRY KNEW!!!!
It is very important to READ KERRY'S book to find his other atrocities and treasons. _________________ Herb |
