He can't handle the pressure. Remember when he took a week vacation to sky? Kerry could NEVER handle the demands of the presidency. He would crack. This lame of a man cannot win this election or we are all affected badly from it. _________________ Watch Kerry Implode Because Of Truth!!

I think he is in total denial about his campaign.
He keeps taking these oddly-timed vacations - when he should be answering the very serious charges that have FINALLY made their way to Mr. and Mrs. America, (thanks to bloggers and talk radio!) he's skiing and windsurfing?
How out of touch with reality do you have to be to behave this way?
Can't wait to see his speech to the American Legion, tomorrow. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Everyone,
In fairness to Kerry (hard I know), it is traditional for a major party candidate to take a week's vacation while the other party had their convention. This is about the first vacation Kerry has had where I do understand the timing. _________________ -Polaris

I think the other possibility is that his campaign managers are keeping him out of any public meetings until they can come up with some kind of a plan they think might have a chance of working. Notice he's all alone out there? The guy's probably bored stiff right now. I hope the American Legion guys give him an underwhelming show of support, that should just about end any faint chance he has of staying in the race now. What do you think? If he was showing any gain in the polls, I feel he would be all over the place trying to draw support, RNC or not. |

Say....isn't that the Bay Hap River ....he's on a secret fact finding mission.
He'll return with a whole Vietnamese family verifing his action reports.

Why didn't he invite his band of brothers to join him... do you think they are there with him in Nantucket? |

Quote: | Referring to hits on the President’s frequent escapes, Kerry remarked at a Cleveland, OH Campaign event in early July, "You're not going to have to look for us on vacation." A week later Kerry was on his second vacation at his Nantucket mansion for four days. |

I can't wait to see the reception he gets from the American Legion. Actually I was hoping they might cancel on him.
He's a Vet, but his VVAW activities should make him persona nongrata.
Any good reasons why they want him to speak?
Perhaps they believe those month old polls and think he still has a chance to win this election. If it's that, then they simply aren't paying attention. _________________ America voted for solid LEADERSHIP and gave "W" a mandate to carry on.

Personally, I think the picture of Kerry gives true insight to his inner self.
Kerry is a true elitist who is completely out of touch with reality: His campaign is sinking like a piece of lead, yet he's on vacation, doing a sport alien to 99% of Americans. |
