Major Garret just reported on Fox news that BOB KERREY - when asked something about SBVT today - Said "F$%^ them - and you can quote me on that." NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE, don't you think?

You would think ole Bob Kerrey would feel some compassion for the SBVT since he himself did suffer from bad press about his 'questionable' actions in Vietnam .

Kerrey-ing no illusions

New School president Bob Kerrey - a former Democratic senator from Nebraska and a Medal of Honor recipient in Vietnam - had choice words for the Swifties accusing Sen. John Kerry of volunteering for Vietnam combat duty to pad his political résumé.

"Oh, f-- them," he told the Daily News' James Gordon Meek. "Quote me on that. The idea that you'd volunteer for [Swift boat duty] because you're thinking about a political career. ... That's what you think about doing if you want a posthumous political career."

Typical Bob! Laughing

And to think I've defended him on this forum...

Actually, he doesn't need much controversy or political pressure to use the F word. He called Clinton an f'er long before anybody else had the nerve. And then there was the time, as Governor of Nebraska, that he got into a fight with the mayor of Omaha at a formal dinner. They stunned the crowd with what was reported as "barracks language", and they threw butter pats at each other.

If john Kerry can say he figures he can to. I wonder what the kids in the school he is associated with will be learning?

He cannot escape the power of his own words. I hope he suffers greatly trying to scramble to put a positive spin on his criminal lies. Is he too proud, dumb, or does he honestly believe the lies. All of the above!

And if BOB KERREY had called Admiral Hoffman looking for his endorsement for President, (Page 68, 69), he'd probably LIKE the Swiftees a whole lot more!

Sounds like animal house to me.

Kerrey's performance on the 911 commission was nothing less than abomindable, his and others obvious partisanship made the commission look ridiculous.

But calling Clinton an effer.....go Bob go!

I'm sorry, I wish I could draw the conclusion along with some of you, that there's an implosion, but Bob Kerrey (note the extra "e") is not a big part of the John Kerry campaign.

Bob is a maverick, and is no longer an elected official. This just not that big a deal....other than for it's humor value.
