I fear for the life of my son, who is deployed in Iraq, should John Kerry be elected to the office of the Presidency. I pray day and night that President Bush will be re-elected, and that John Kerry will be shown for what he truly is, a TRAITOR, to all Americans. But I especially want to say thanks to the great and selfless actions of all of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and specifically Mr.O'Neill. The TRUTH is coming out about what this supposed hero is all about... lies, deceptions, cowardice, dishonor of all our Armed Forces, including my 23 year old US Army son, my Viet Nam Army veteran husband, and my Viet Nam veteran Marine father. Thank you for risking ALL for the good of our fair country, still the "land of the free and home of the brave", because you fought to make it so. I hear you, Brigade Mom. My son would be deployed under a Kerry Presidency... I remember the Carter military - a Kerry military would be even worse.

Hang in there - let's get the word out among the active duty and younger veterans - what Kerry did to soldiers can never be forgotten.

I can understand your fear...but keep in mind that today's military has the very best equipment, training and a compassion to look out for each other.

I agree that Kerry would be a disaster in terms of sacking the moral of our engaged troops and I do not believe that he will be in a position of CC to do harm.
I served under LBJ and we even named the jail after him.
