and the credit for the turn around is given to The SwiftBoat Ads.

The first Mason-Dixon Florida poll since the primary shows good news for President Bush, who has survived six months of Democratic shelling in pretty good shape.
The poll says he leads John Kerry 51-43 percent, but that Kerry's disapproval rating has doubled - the result of new TV attack ads. The poll also shows support for Bush's handling of the war on terror and the Iraq war, but not on health care or the economy.

A poll taken last April obviously has no meaning now.
But I could understand the confusion--there was a Senate primary election yesterday. _________________ The traitor will crater! |

I hope that everyone who lives in Florida remains safe through this coming hurricane. My prayers are with you folks. The addition of Mel Martinez to the senate ticket will also galvanize the GOP base in Florida as well, but no doubt, the stimulus for all of this momentum in Florida was the swiftvets. |

You can count on this family supporting George W. Bush, along with "many" other families from this area of Florida.
However, we might be riding to vote on our lawnmowers, if Francis don't show a little mercy on us
We are all keeping a sharp lookout on this storm, and praying that everyone remains safe.
God be with us & George W. Bush as we attempt to combat both of these situations.
Have a great & safe day everyone!

That's great news. kerry isn't doing so hot in Florida. It stinks they're going through all that with these hurricanes. This is the third one this year. That's the bad thing about Florida. They're a big bullseye in the middle of the Gulf and Central Atlantic. I was born in Jacksonville so I always hate seeing them get nailed like that. |

If you want to see the full spread of the Florida polls, here's a link:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Presidential_04/fl_polls.html
They do this for all the states, and it gives you a better picture than the national poll, since some states are lopsided for one candidate or another. Given the electoral college, the key thing will be the spreads in the battleground states. I have a feeling states like Wisconsin and Iows that Gore won in 2000 will go Bush this year. And this time the voters in the western panhandle of Florida, heavily Republican, won't stay home because of a network calling it to early for the Democrat.
www.realclearpolitics.com is also pretty good overall in the articles they link to, though, of course, not the ones that shill for Traitor John. Another fun one is www.lucianne.com.
