finally found a group that feels exactly as i do. been reading this site for a week before i decided to post |
Well, welcome aboard!
I'm surprised that your post is missing from FindLaw! I thought better of their website than that. |

Just posted this on their board, hope it makes it through edit:
Some people here can't seem to grasp the importance of honesty and integrity in a leader. How can you not see that when Kerry's campaign has changed their story on 3 subjects (the M-79 and the famous PH scratch, the Christmas in Cambodia story, and turning and running when their sister ship was under attack). The Swifties have never changed their story---and it is a damn shame that American veterans have come to such venom toward each other on this subject. Why did John Kerry centerpiece his 4 months of duty against a war he despised and not his record? It has opened old festering wounds of the Vietnam War--feelings that vets of other wars have not felt and do not truly understand. When people find out that I have served in Afghanistan and Iraq they shake my hand and thank me, WWII vets were given massive parades and lots of love from their country. Only the Viet vets had to suffer coming home to degrading, insulting, obscene, and vile remarks (baby killer, et al)after they had been through combat in a jungle far from home--knowing that they just experienced tremendous loss (all combat vets die inside to a degree from war). Only they have felt this kind of pain---to know you fought a war you were never allowed to win-- to have been branded with the only war America has ever lost. The Swiftees have turned the tide of this election towards Bush mainly because they do not want to see JK as Commander of the force. He could have demonstrated against the war and it would have been quite alright with anybody, but, he went a step further and over the line by branding his comrades as war criminals not seen since the likes of Genghis Khan. That is why there is so much disdain of JK by the Swiftees and the vets that have served their country in the past and the ones serving now will vote overwhelmingly for Bush. Kinda makes you think where your priorities lie when you vote differently than the ones protecting your freedom but hey, our sacrifice gives you that very right to! _________________ Never Ever Give Up

Thanks everybody for taking my suggestion and posting on Findlaw. I posted under my name, Tim Fergus. Some lawyer type started picking my post apart. He did not use common sense, he used legal technicalities. I still think he is wrong. On that my best defense is Mr. John O'Neill himself.
FYI here is what I posted:
Tim fergus - 04:39pm Sep 1, 2004 (6749. 9837/9838)
Yes, sue them, please. Make my day.
John O'Neill has dared Kerry to sue him. Kerry is running for his life because he knows the SBVT are telling the truth. The SBVT have been demanding that Kerry sign Standard Form 180 to release all of his military records. If he sues them he will have to make them public and then all the world will see the truth.
On the other hand, Kerry and his goons should be concerned about what law suits might be coming their way, from slander and libel to trying to intimidate television stations and booksellers to blatant violation of McCain-Feingold. |

John O'Neill has already challenged Kerry to sue him on more than one show. Since John was number one in his law school and is a 'real' lawyer I'd put my money on him. What could kerry sue john for--using Kerry's dumb words against him |

I hope everybody saw Zell Miller after his speech tear into Chris Matthews on MSNBC, upgrading Matthews for his treatment of Michelle Malkin on his show, said Matthews would not get away with that from him, made Matthews shut up and behave, even said if he could, if it were back in the days of when gentlemen did these things, he would challenge Loudmouth to a duel! Delicious. I never saw Matthews look so cowed and sheepish.
Anyway, that pollster guy who is often on Loudmouth's program had a focus group segment who saw the speeches. First: they liked Miller more than Cheney, and second: 11 of these 17 "undecideds" were persuaded by him to vote for Bush.
One word for Kerry: INCOMING!

John Dean should know how to LOSE a defamation suit! His case against the author of "Silent Coup", G Gordon Liddy et.al. went no where. The book argued that the reason Nixon and the upper staff didn't know what the plumbers were doing in the Watergate and why the 'Plumbers' didn't know their true mission in the Watergate was because the middleman, John Dean had high-jacked the ball.
The 'Plumbers' went into the DNC not to sniff out strategy or bug Larry O'brien but to monitor the phone usually used for making assignations with a high-class, call-girl shop. An employee of that Madam was the babilicious Mo who sat front and center at the Senate Hearings, who Dean married and honey-mooned in Europe with $40,000 dollars of of slush funds to legally shut her up. |

and ... begging the question ... why did not Kerry see the sampan on the radar ... or maybe he was too busy examining his eyelids for holes. _________________ I'm a Texan, and no one has ever accused me of speaking English. |

Why Kerry missed the sampan on the radar: he was too busy cowering underneath it, taking a "nuanced" position, i.e. fetal.
