It would be great to get a replay on the Chris Matthews incident.
It shouldn't be a problem to get the written transcript. I went to MSNBC.com and did a search (left hand side of the page) for "Hardball transcripts." Got a page full, including the one from Aug. 31--so maybe Sep. 1 will be ready in the morning . . . Can't wait to read it. I saw the event, but would like to have it to savor forever!
I saw that they had some video clips available online as well, including some excerpts from Hardball. Maybe if we all contact MSNBC and ask for the video of that segment, they will post it. I looked for contact info--hope this is the correct email address: viewerservices@msnbc.com
The email for Hardball is hardball@msnbc.com, but I doubt an email there would get past Chrissie! |

I can't wait to see how the liberals are going to spin this! He was talking to them as well, telling them they are behaving with a total lack of
judgement, not standing for the country, just themselves. I wonder if
any of them accepted that?
No, they will blame Zell, the dems are very good at blaming everyone
but themselves for any action, talk or behavior.
I went back to watch it again, and it was even better.
We saw a real patriot speaking tonight, and he spoke the truth.
Fantastic.
As for Chris, he is not really important, but in taking him down as
he did maybe he saved another person on the show being treated
as he treated Michelle and O'Neill. Bullies are always cowards,
fight back and they do not have a clue what to do, right? _________________ Swiftvets rock! |

Senator Miller actually made Chris act like a gentleman, it was amazing,
Chris was bested and knew it.
He really is still a terrible interviewer and will be back tomorrow doing
the same thing to anyone he can bullyboy into being quiet, but it was
good to see the Senator stop him in his tracks.
Chris is not get the message the Senator was sending out to the liberals.
I am sure few of the will.

Ditto cjg,
I think their trying to set up Zell for the Scarborough show...That should give Zell time to explain, how Zell spoke favorable about kerry 3 years ago and unfavorablly tonight..Zell already said on CNN that the favorable statements about kerry WERE made before 9/11...I want to hear more from Zell, concerning his statements...I think the public should hear them too... _________________ "John (F) Kerry = "Talk the Talk"

When Judith Woodruff (CNN) tried to get Zell to compare, his Senate record to kerry's, (implying that Zell voted against small pachages also.) I wish Zell would have said, "But, I'm not running for president." Don't remember, but i think Zell came back with a good reply, anyway... _________________ "John (F) Kerry = "Talk the Talk"

I just had to say that I'm still thinking about Miller's speech this morning. I guess I'd have to call myself a Miller Democrat now. |

It was wonderful to watch Sen Zel Miller rip Chris Matthews a new A$$hole on PMSNBC after his awesomely strong speech for the GOP Convention.
My heart swells with pride and confidence that we such GREAT people still in leadership in this Greatest Nation ever!
OH RAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tweek - a Jeffersonian Democrat for Pres. Bush
PS. Michelle Malkin did her best last week ripping Matthews but the spoiled brat wouldn't let her make her point.
Good job! Semper Fi Michelle! _________________ "The object of war is to make the other poor dumb bastard die for his country." LtGen Geo. S. Patton, USA 1944.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Your truthful and spirited speech at the RNC was a breath of fresh air. When it comes to national security and the future of a peaceful, FREE world, there is no room for partisan politics. You introduced the rest of America to that fact last night.
If we are not vigilant in our national defense, what good will more jobs & better health care benefits do us? These issues would be pointless. If you have no PERSONAL FREEDOMS, what difference does it make whether your unemployed or have a lousy HMO or want to keep more of your $$$. Only a strong FREE society can ever hope to really deal with the other very important issues that we face for the future.
Thank you for being an American, instead of a politician!

The press today refered to Zell Miller's speech as "Red Meat".
I call it a Work of Art. _________________ FIRE MISSION: Kerry campaign in line of sight. |
