Democratic Senator Sell Miller honorably attempted to take his party back tonight by giving the most honest yet impassioned political speech I’ve ever witnessed and it was given at the Republican Convention. I’m very thankful I captured it all on DVD – and have already watched it twice.
Finally, Miller has helped me feel some relief and vengeance for the traitorous statements Senators Kennedy and Kerry have made on the Senate floor.
With a Democrat making a speech at the Republican Convention, the SBVT leading the veterans in setting Kerry’s record on Vietnam straight, and the New Media (I’ve addressed elsewhere on the board) this is Bush’s election to loose.
Miller was mind-blowing. Here are some of his statements.
“What has happened to the party I've spent my life working in?
Motivated more by partisan politics than by national security, today's Democratic leaders see America as an occupier, not a liberator. And nothing makes this Marine madder than someone calling American troops occupiers rather than liberators…
For it has been said so truthfully that it is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech...
No pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry…
I could go on and on and on: against the Patriot Missile that shot down Saddam Hussein's scud missiles over Israel; against the Aegis air-defense cruiser; against the Strategic Defense Initiative; against the Trident missile; against, against, against. This is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of our U.S. Armed Forces? U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs?…
Senator Kerry has made it clear that he would use military force only if approved by the United Nations. Kerry would let Paris decide when America needs defending…
George Bush wants to grab terrorists by the throat and not let them go to get a better grip…
Right now the world just cannot afford an indecisive America. Fainthearted self-indulgence will put at risk all we care about in this world. In this hour of danger our President has had the courage to stand up. And this Democrat is proud to stand up with him. Thank you.

Best Speech Ever!!!
I also thoroughly enjoyed his wanting to challenge Chris Matthews to a duel. No political correctness with this guy. Honest and impassioned to say the least.
Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! |

It was awesome! I clapped in my living room over and over! wow! Loved the part about '.. .no one should ever consider becomming Cdr and Chief if they don't believe their military is liberating and not occupying...' or something like that. (Refering to Kerry's behavior after Vietnam, people prtotesting or buring the flag and the soldiers that gave the idiots that abuse that right the right to do it). Or, maybe the spitball comment was the best |

Senator Miller's speech was so electrifiying that I did not fall asleep for hours.
Senator Miller made me proud to say that not only am I an American --- I am an American from Georgia. I hope every mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (and any woman who one day might "choose" to be a mother ) was listening last night. This is about protecting their children's futures. There cannot be any issue or self-interest more important. |

As a fellow Vet and a fellow Georgian I applaud Zell Miller. He to has a backbone of tempered steel! He understands the difference of our proud American Military being a liberating force, and not an occupying force. He ripped the mask off John Forbes Kerry and Teddy Kennedy and exposed them for what they are. Spineless haters of all that is good in America.
God bless Zell Miller. _________________ "Win the Delta Come Hell or High Water!"

I almost died laughing when he said that.
When he said

it looked like his blood pressure was going up he was so mad. |

Zell Miller's speech last night had to be the spearpoint of the President's approach of getting the message out that John Kerry is unquestionally unfit for command.
Only Zell can get away with using street words and still get the message across. _________________ FIRE MISSION: Kerry campaign in line of sight. |

Zell is an old Democrat, He despises what has happened to his party. He is also an old Marine who loves his country. His voting has been more with the Republicans than the Dem's.He is a great American and his speech was one of the best in passioned political speech's that I ever heard. I e mailed him to thank him today |

Remember, Joe Kennedy WAS a socialist. Raised his kids to believe the same. Even wanted to appease Hitler. Teddy is carrying on the FAMILY traditions. Kerry believes the same.
Zell was FANTASTIC, over the top. If the demo's had picked him, IT would be a tight race.

Did anyone see Susan Estrich on Fox last night? When ask to rate his speech (1 to 4 elephants) she gave him a zero.
That's how much the Dems hate him. |
