noice, but just to piss in your wheaties, it's kind of expected.

there's the dem convetion itself, then there's al the reporting, commentating etc BUILT BY the dem convention. Many people did not see a single minute of the convention but heard several hours to days worht of news about it. This energizes them to catch the republican event itself.

Remember, confidence is good. Bravado isn't. The polls are as inconclusive as ever, and while people are starting to doubt kerry even more, they're still stuckin the "anybody but bush" mentality. the pounding has to continue, until they realize that bush, for all his failings, is not a double-speaking traitor.

Okay, here's a rating that I'm actually enjoying seeing. I've been watching the poll on msnbc.com for that past few months. Until the RNC, Bush was trailing by an average 8 to 10 points.

drum roll please...

Now, on msnbc.com, the unscientific poll reads:

* 335321 responses
55% George W. Bush

43% John Kerry

2% Ralph Nader

Best quote: "...bowl of mush" Zell Miller
Best other quote: "get out of my face" Zell Miller to Chris Mathews

It's the shear number of people watching the RNC over the DNC that are impressive. 50% more.

Maybe Arnold was the sole reason. But, I doubt it.

A poll with over a third of a million people that goes overwhelmingly for Bush like that one did is nothing to laugh at. Smile
