I was just listening to talk radio in WV and Orin Hatch was defending the swift boat veterans. He was mad because they were putting Zell Miller
down and he let them have it |

They were just saying he had went over the top with hateful sppech.
Terry McCauliff said he wasn't a democrat any more. Who is he to say that. It is still free speech. Oh ,I forgot the democtats don't want free speech |

Leftists will abandon all connections to, and demonize, anyone who dares not tow the party line.
They will forget all about previous social ties to the person, friendships, etc. since their connections are only about ideology, not about people.
They will go so far as to "purge" mention of the person from books and "erase" the transgressor from history.
Ex-leftist David Horowitz speaks eloquently about this phenomenon in his book "Left Illusions: An Intellectual Odyssey."
In Ch. 34 of this book there is an essay called "The Art of Political War." All of the Dem tactics currently on display are explained in this book. These tactics are intentional.

He did NOT go "over the top".
He merely redefined the ceiling.  |
