In the third photo down - what is the larger boat on the right? It looks almost as big as the Hydrofoil (USS Taurus) that I served on in 91-92. I know there were no PHMs back then - but it's interesting that there was something similar in size. I was OOD during this photo op:

I believe that might be a Coast Guard cutter, but I'm sure Jack can answer it definitively since he was there.

Guess this is the closest I could come to a Swift Boat during my time. I was Combat Systems Officer. 76mm gun, harpoon cruise missiles, 50 cals and assorted small arms. Top speed - fast. We had a crew of 25. 5 officers and 20 enlisted. We mainly did drug interdiction and worked very closely with the coasties and the US customs service. Tough duty down there in those islands. They're all decommissioned now.... 
Amazingly - our squadron of six PHMs (based in Key West) was very close and I knew many of the other officers and men on the other boats very well. We had a lot of esprit de corps and we were a close bunch who fancied ourselves in a different kind of Navy then the large ships we came from and went to. It was tough duty to get - and those who were assigned were usually the best of the best. We used to bend the Navy regs a bit by wearing flight suits when we were at sea ("borrowed" from the student pilots at NAS Key West). We fancied ourselves as aviators of sorts, operating 2.2 meters off the water with aircraft controls in the pilothouse. In this small, close group, if you couldn't pull your weight or contribute, you were gone in a short time since there was no room for any dead weight with such small crews - maybe in even less than four months....
