I'd like to see the number of contributors to your organization prominently posted on your home page somewhere. I think that might help diffuse some of this criticism that the Swiftees are financed by a small number of Republican operatives.

It might also encourage other casual visitors to contribute.

Keep up the GREAT work folks!

It would also motivate a liberal to flatten your tires.

I'm confused. How would posting the number of contributors on the home page of the web site incite any liberal to do anything? Nothing was said about a list of contributors, just the number.

Do not think he was saying name names of contributors. Just the number of contributions recieved. Not sure but I think this has been covered before.

I agree with Mooncusser, names would be a bit risky for some of you (I'm old, retired and fairly insulated). However, the total number, the average amount donated and a clock ticking down to election day would be nice.

Razz
Only if they wanted to get injuries much more severe than Kerry received in VN.

And these wouldn't be self-inflicted!

I was thinking of numbers and not names. I contributed and am proud of it, but I understand some might want anonimity.

A listing of the number of contributors and the amount would be great. People still say this is merely a Republican organized attack machine. They don't know thousands have donated.

I made a suggestion that they add paypal for receiving donations to this site. They haven't responded to that either.

ArmyIntel,

As a 527 group, the Swiftvets have a legal obligation to record certain information about each donor. I don't believe they could get that information if they accepted donations via PayPal.
