We need to start an email campaign to get anybody and everybody we know to start looking at all of the information against John Kerry that is available on the Internet. I have assembled a strong Links page on the Website:

http://www.betrayed-vietnam-vet.info

Two links that every voter in America should see are the link to www.stolenhonor.com (particularly the testimony of Ralph Gaither) and the links to the Kerry flip-flops on Iraq.

The rest of the Web site is a work in progress. It's growing, but slowly. But if I may be so bold as to ask, please send out emails to everyone you know - especially Democrats - and direct them to these two links on my Links page. I think this could do a lot of good.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi All,

As great as all of the discussion on these forums is, we really aren't changing all that much election wise by talking to ourselves. We need to get the rest of America interested in this - particularly those voters who believe that Kerry is the right choice.

I have sent out the following email to everyone on my email list. The response has been mixed, but I actually think I may have gotten two Kerry voters to switch. At least they say they are thinking now and are no longer dead set on voting for Kerry. If the thousands of members of this forum would try the same thing, we might end up switching enough votes to make a difference.

So try it - please??

Hi All,

I really don't know what political leanings any of you may have. I
hope I don't get a firestorm started with this email. But I got
pretty upset when John Kerry "reported for duty" at the Democratic
National Convention and I have become motivated enough to do
something about it. Many of you may not remember and many
of you may not even care. But to me, Kerry is a traitor on par
with Jane Fonda. And I just cannot sit by and watch him be
elected President.

There is a strong feeling among Vietnam vets that John Kerry is
not fit to serve as President. The Internet is full of resources put
together by veterans and others that document why so many of us
feel as strongly as we do. I have set up a Website where I am
trying to pull some of this information together into decent order.
The site is a work in progress, but I don't know if I will ever have
the time to get everything wrapped up as I would like before the
election. So I am asking people to look at what I have pulled
together at this time - and check back every so often in the
future.

The URL of this site is:

http://www.betrayed-vietnam-vet.info

The Links page has several links to sites that I think every American
voter should see. One of these is the link to "Stolen Honor". This site
has clips made by former POW's. The testmony given by Ralph Gaither
in his clip is especially moving. Another link that is particularly
relevant is the link to a clip produced by the RNC that presents John
Kerry's flip-flops on Iraq, in his own words. The link to Winter Soldier
will explain Kerry's activities in the anti-war movement.

I would appreciate it if you would visit these links and see for yourself
why I am so adamant that John Kerry not be elected President. And I
would appreciate your forwarding this email to everyone you know.

Thanks,

Bob

I'll ask our college paper to add your link to their website, possibly publish as well...

THanks for your hard work. A true patriot.

I respectfully and happily disagree, from my small corner of the world.
Thursday and Friday (2 -3 Sept '04) I got 3 e-mails at work and 2 at home to which I included this in my reply: "Have you secretly been monitoring SBVFT? That surprises me!"

In all of those replies, I was later verbally told things like "Of course not!" and "no -- I avoid things like the Swift Boat site and MoveOn, and all the rest of those far-out places" (Re-read that, and put a lot of mental righteous indignation into the remark).

My verbal reply as been, in each case, "Then why are you sending me direct quotations from the posts there?"

The usually stuttering, incredulous response has been "WHAT"?

To which I'll reply "Yes. I can find that post for you and send you the link if you want. I've been on the site since early August, and I've contributed to them. My post handle is jwb7605, if you're curious. It's a personal thing for me. I don't particulary care whether you like that or not, and I don't care if you're pro-Bush or pro-Kerry. I'm just anti-Kerry, conservative, and intend to show anybody I can exactly who Kerry is, and why several tens of thousands of veterans, Viet Nam or not, despise the guy".

Keep talking to yourself. Just don't lose the argument ... I hate it when that happens Smile
