When Larry King handed things over to Aaron Brown Friday night Larry lamented to Brown something like this, " what a weird week, we got to keep our heads up, things will get better." Both men seemed to be so dispirited. And it is no wonder. They were in last place in the ratings war all week even losing to MSNBC. They had to report on the Time Poll showing Bush taking a 52 to 41 lead. Their all time hero Bill Clinton will be out of action for a month or so. ( We wish him well.) And poor Judy Woodruff having to endure it all, nearly in tears during her show. Should we send them all handkerchiefs and copies of Unfit for Command?

Interesting.
I am watching the more liberal media for the first signs
of a shift. CNN will switch their slant when they believe
the handwritings on the wall.
They may already be doing this. |

Mathews treatment of Zel Miller was the last straw for me.
I watched him shift allready when his ratings took a dive over a year back.
He slowly drifted back into a much more partisan role than ever. Mathews is not in the least bit stupid. He knows all the issues involved and still avoids anything which could be mistaken for Journalistic Objectivity.
I hope he goes back to work on the hill where it is clear what his job title is.
Zel Miller, Rudy G., Ed Koch, Christofer Hitchens, David Horowitz, Steve Gardner, John O'niell et all, even Dennis Miller; These history will show were great Americans rising to a cause when history called them.
Chris Mathews, Larry King, Dan Rather, Jim Lehrer et all, Tom Brokaw, Pete Jennings...... each has shown there hand as non journalists..... idiologues with a box full of axes to grind. |

Don't trust CNN Before W's speech, Wolf did a "thing" on distractions..some lady from Alabama thinks she remembers that W came to Alabama because he was in trouble in Texas and she "thinks"she remembers her husband telling her that! NEWS!! Salon mag...what a joke..then he went on to say that 60 minutes had something against Bush that was going to be aired on Sunday...how a friend, of a friend of the Bush family asked that W be given a place on the Texas National Guard...now I ask you...why in the world would CNN put that on the air at that time? They are in a state of panic because the convention was going so good...CNN can't believe that they are having such a hard time swaying public opinion..I do believe that the Swiftvets have done more to expose the truth than any MSM. Keep up the good work! Love you guys!
God Bless America,

Larry King is incapable of containing his own bias.
I recall, during campaign 2000, Mr. King was interviewing Al Gore on his CNN show and Gore was observing, if I remember correctly, how one particular aspect of the GOP campaign was gaining traction. Larry then remarked (I must paraphrase) "How" or "Can WE do better against that?"
I almost fell out of my chair.

Why don't you send Slick a copy of "Unfit for Command". He should have plenty of time on his hands to read it. On second thought he might think it's an unauthorized biography. _________________ Former USAF proud to support my Navy comrades. |

Larry King is very active in the Democratic party.
He is a star used as a draw at many Democratic fund raisers in NYC.
He and Chris Matthews have come right out on the air and called
themselves staunch Democrats. No secret.
I think Chris Matthews actually described himself as a "rabid Democrat".
They don't even try to hide it. |

Flip floppers all.
Don't kid yourselves.
The slant is still there and will always be there. Their only concern is that viewers equal advertising dollars that in turn equal salaries.
The true core of the majority of the MSM lies firmly on the left. The media predominately anti-military and always has been. The MSM will continue to do everything they can to support one of their anti-military own. The MSM and DNC thought they could dress Kerry up in a "hero's costume" and fool the voters. Their anger with the Swift Boat Vets, Zell Miller, and the RNC is that their fool's game is uncovered. The many voters who would have supported a DNC candidate are now seeing what a horrible candidate Kerry is. The MSM failed to do their job by uncovering these incredible flaws.
I remain amazed that the DNC would nominated a candidate who has abslutely no other qualifications than his claim of being a war hero based upon his 4 months in Vietnam. Kerry has no history of being a champion of any issue of importance to the the American people. His record of anti-military, anti-intelligence, anti-security would never sell to the majority of Americans in this post 9-11 age.
The trouble is that there are still a lot of fools out there buying into their game. So you guys need to keep up this fight, keep up the good work until the polls close on November 2.
My prayers, my few dollars, and my own meager efforts are with you. |

Chrissie is a socialist communist type. He is putting on a show because he is embarrassed by his stupid questioning of Zell and the young girl (forgot her name).
I thought he was going to cry while he was blasting her with stupid accusations and incoherent ramblings. _________________ MACV '64...65

The way FOX has been hammering the competition. The Communist National Network may not be around much longer. I can see Matthews bowing down to Fox saying please hire me, I've finally seen the light. Maybe he'll just go to Canada (FOX is not shown by the CBC) and work for the Al-Jeezera network (their broadcast by CBC). _________________ Viet Nam vet and PROUD! |

Quote: | Larry King is incapable of containing his own bias. |
Me I look and listen to a very broad spectrum of news shows. Although I refuse to pay money to see Moore's mindless movies I do regularly take in shows on what I refer to as the 'communist channels' these are:
Free Speech TV (FSTV)
World Link Television (World Link)
Some time ago I saw a show called 'fear and favor in the news room'
In this documentary they incorporate a good deal of 'off air' chatter while reporters prepare to go on the air live.
Here's the thing. They had a segment with Larry King performing his first interview of Bill Clinton, just after Clinton was rising to the top as a freshman presidential candidate.
During a commercial break Larry King explains to Slick Willie that Ted Turner was a very big fan of Clintons.
To his credit Clinton was taken aback by the comment. King then continued to explain that Turner seriously was a huge fan and he Larry King had been instructed to explain to Bill Clinton that if there was anything..... anything at all Ted Turner could do to help Clinton win his election to just let him know.
This was a mind-blowing segment....... Larry King ('journalist') was acting a intermediary for Ted Turner ('media mogul') to alter the outcome of a election.
I've just spent the last 15 minutes looking for a transcript of the show and had no luck.
This sort of thing might hamper CNN's viewer ship just a little, eh? |

www.michellemalkin.com Her area of expertise is actually immigration, a call for closing our borders, and tighter border security. She has written several books on the subject and knows her stuff.
Which makes it even more idiotic of CM to grill her on the Swiftees as if she had in depth knowledge. I suppose Matthews beleives if you aren't a marxist like him then you are for the "other side" and eveyone else is part of the "conspiracy" with full knowledge.
the term "clueless Crissy" applies.. _________________ said Democratic Chairman Terry McAuliffe. "It is inexcusable to mock service and sacrifice."
