Looks like a one-sided attack on the SBVTs to me.

Here's the kicker....

"...The truth is simple: John Kerry was a hero in Vietnam and highly decorated, and people will see that if they look at his record, which is on his Web site and many other places on the Web.

See the problem here....

Would you please clarify the point you are making Jonny?

I'd really be interested in you point of view.

I find it interesting that the web site for Texas Democrats for Kerry advertises the address of Mr. Perry and calls for protestors to meet up and go to Galveston and protest his small contribution to SBVT, while they ignore George Soros's millions of dollars of contributions to Bush bashing site Moveon.org.

Also interesting is a poll they have up Laughing

Do you think Texas can become a swing state during this election?

Yes 23%

Yes, but it will happen during the last few days 18%

Not this year, but in the next presidential election, the
state willl go to the Democrats 15%

Probably not 21%

No way...this is Bush Country 23%

Total Votes: 309 Thanks for voting

It appears their protests aren't doing much Laughing Very Happy

As an ex-Texan, fifth generation, now in Colorado, the one thing that
jumped out at me, is that despite all the agitating to get people to picket
Perry's home, there were only twenty five people there, according to the
article. That's pretty sad, if that's all they could come up with. Clear
Lake is right next to Houston, population over 5 million, only a couple of
hours from Austin and San Antonio. They'll punk out once they run out
of cheap beer and the mosquitoes biting the crap out of them.

Galveston is a fairly big city. That there are only 25 misguided veterans doesn't say much. I have no doubt that there are far more anti-Kerry vets in the Galveston area. This is just a miniscule blip on the map.

I'd still like to hear from JonnyLaw in person.

How about it, Jonny? Wink

What (Perry) is doing to veterans is wrong; it’s just hateful,” said Clear Lake resident John Cobarruvias. “You don’t question a veteran like that; it’s un-American.”

Is this a joke or what?

After what "benedict Arnold" Kerry did to veterans and this country, these idiots ever read "The New Soldier."

I feel like I have stumbled into "The Twilight Zone."

Mr. Pot, I'd like you to meet Mr. Kettle.......er.......I mean Mr. Kerry--

Even if the things that the Swiftees are saying about Kerry were false, which they're not, they wouldn't be one minute fraction as bad as the despicable things that he said about the brave men who fought in Viet Nam which WERE lies--

Oh, and by the way, have you ever herd the way a Liberal squeals if anyone ever suggests that anything they say or do is "un-American"?--Just another example of how they're more than capable of dishing it out, but are not willing to take it--Poor babies!!--C

I know there will be certain Vets who support Kerry no matter what. Just the same, I'd really love to get a look at the DD214s of some of these Vets who are most vocal about their support of Kerry. It would be interesting to learn how many wanna-bes are involved.
