That chronWatch article is awesome. Had to forward that one.

Here's another one with a daily newsblog beginning in August and continuing until the election (lots of SwiftBoat info):http://large-regular.blogspot.com/2004/08/no-way-to-run-campaign-if-it-seems-to.html

Kerry is not going to quit. It is probly to late anyway. Some states already had to move their ballot deadlines back to accommodate the late republican convention. There are probably few states beside NJ Wink that would allow a change in the candidates at this point.

There are probably fifty different laws about the election ballots but are there any provisions for the presidential elections if a candidate withdraws after the parties have made their official choice? It happens a lot in local races, and usually if it is before the ballot dealine the local commitee will pick a new candidate, after the dealines they are stuck with no candidate (with exception of NJ as said before). The actual election is by the electoral college but they are mostly bound by the results of their states, if a withdrawn candidate gets the most votes do they vote for him or for someone else the national party commitee suggests as an alternative or for the second place candidate?

My faith is starting to be restored in Americans.

I have always believed that if you simply give Americans the facts, give them the information, they will always do the right thing. That is why the media's performance has been so shameful. I've never seen anything like it in all my life.

Teresa Heinz Kerry is nothing if not smart and independent. I would wager money she demanded a copy of "Unfit for Command." The contrast between JFK and her first husband (whom she even mentioned in her convention speech!) must be startling. If Kerry's medal stuff came as news to the Swifties who served with him, imagine her shock, to find out, in black and white, that she has married a fraud. Holy Ketchup!

Agreed, but primarily due to his appanrent
Narcissistic Personality Disorder
(Hey, there has to be SOME explanation for his actions.)

Rove took a lot of heat for the risky RNC dates.
Apparently some key deadlines passed last week.

Not only is executing 50 disparate Toricelli/Lautenberg
maneuvers a big challenge, that may not be the guiding
historical precedent. Consider Eagleton (and that switch
was pulled BEFORE last week's deadlines).

Although the SBVFT would likely be satisfied to see
Kerry drop out of the race, at this point that seems
unlikely. Even if he does, expect his name to remain
on the ballot in many places - and any purported
campaign resignation to thus be suspect.

Of course, as MO has demonstrated, a candidate can
be dead and still win.

What would you expect from the Communist News Network?

After the Presiden'ts speech the other day -- I quickly turned to CBS and rolled on the floor laughing at how those Loser described the speech. The BS Meter was on Man the Lifeboats for sure.
