The blog "Captain's Quarters" remarked the other day that our hero, John F-ing Kerry is coming apart at the seams. My opinion on this is that F-ing is doing an excellent Captain Queeg. He's now chastising his own campaign people for the way they are handling things. That's surely a sign that he's on the ragged edge, and he could unwind at any moment. It never occurs to F-ing to go out and do anythinbg himself, so he delegates. Is that the way we want our country run, by surrogates? I hardly think so.

Having had virtually no experience in his lifetime running anything at all, he is smart enough to get help on everything, even his PB&J sandwiches from his manservant.

Because he's so impotent, his only reaction is to make like his mentor, Ted (Urrrrrp) Kennedy and yell and scream (that's called a tantrum) when things don't go his way.

The folks out there know a tantrum when they see it and will equate sKerry to a babbling and juvenile little brat who isn't getting what he wants.

Coming unglued couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

I think Teresa will come unglued first, we're seeing signs of it already. I've always thought she would be the weak link in Kerry's run for President, she REALLY wants to be First Lady, and she expected a cake walk. She would be a good target for the media to exert some pressure on, she'll fold.

My wife thinks that this hospital event yesterday is the prelude to turayzah pulling the plug on active support. A medical condition would be a great excuse to stay away. If push comes to shove, as it has been, although without her taking a great deal of notice, she would rather do what she's used to doing, instead of taking the heat. Yep, she'd fold like a cheap suit.

I think Teraaaaayze is done with the Kerry campaign, she dropped out of the spotlight a while ago becuase she is so unpopular and only hurts Kerry when she opens her 'free thinking' mouth.

Zinfella, listen to your wise wife. Women have an instinct for these things (if I may say, as a woman) and I see it the same way. Imagine, Teresa walked onto her husband's convention stage and talked about Husband #1. Shows you where her heads at: not on Kerry.

This is a political wife; it's what she's done her entire adult life. It's not as if she didn't know what she was in for. No, I think Mrs. Heinz Kerry is rich enough, independent enough, to have actually demanded a copy of John O'Neill's book...so she could read the "outrageous accusations" for herself...and perhaps found herself blown away by the book's credibility. Imagine waking up and finding out you're married to a fraud.

Also, this is a woman who is not used to criticism. Her speech was pretty well skewered.

A "headache" is as good an out as any.

Kerry is used to having his way and depending (using) other people to get what he wants. He can't handle the fact that there
is a whole lot of people out there that despise him.
