Kerry is cycling with a Serotta. He has one of its hypercustomized models which cost $8,000. It is a high-end uppity overpriced European bicycle. The younger Bush had the less bancy $1500 Trek.
Not even Lance Armstrong rides a Serotta. Founder Ben Serotta says Kerry deserves a break. "most people of power are golfers who pay tens of thousands of dollars to be part of an elite club. There are so many ways to spendmoney." The kerry campaign, no stranger to bumps in the road, did not return phone calls.
I have a photo of kerry on his $8,000 bike.

| I'm not sure Lance races it, but he does ride a Waterford Precision. I wonder if Mr. Kerry can tell us why he didn't buy that American bike. Probably has a Euro or Jap motorbike in his garage too. |

Actually I believe Serotta bikes are American. They are made in Saratoga Springs, New York.
