This from Fox News today:
Military service during the Vietnam War (search) has become an issue in the presidential election as both candidates debate the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Democrat John Kerry commanded a Navy Swift boat in Vietnam and won five medals, including a Silver Star. But his heroism has been challenged in ads by some veterans who support Bush.
I thought it was Veterans for the Truth, not Veterans for Bush. Just goes to show you the liberal leaning of the associated press. Although, I thought Fox News was fair and balanced?
They make the claim that the ads are sponsored by some Veterans for Bush like it's not even in question. Why can't they just tell the truth? That some Vet's don’t like Kerry, Bush has nothing to do with it. |

What gets me is they have no shame or embarrassment.
I would be unable to sleep at night, and ashamed to leave my house.

They are familiar with a voting block known as ABB's. (anybody but Bush)
They haven't realized yet that Swiftvets are ABK's. (anybody but Kerry)
One of these days they may catch on.
Not too bright and biased to boot. _________________ "If he believes his 1971 indictment of his country and his fellow veterans was true, then he couldn't possibly be proud of his Vietnam service." |

If so, I suggest a batch like in Fort Campbell's post above. (I would love those) _________________ Retired USN Capt.; Market Time vicinity ChuLai 6/67-2/68; Maddox 8/64 Tonkin Gulf; NGFS I Corps 6-12/65; Saigon evac. 4/75. |
