On Weds, After the Rep. Convention, JK was fit to be tied. From the git-go he had wanted to challenge the SBVT ads - but Mary-Beth said "no!"- so he went to his room to sulk in private.

Note: Kerry's notion of challengeing the ads, is to blame all on the Bush campaign and to question Bush's & Cheney's service

Now his poll numbers are sinking. He is going to display his hero bravado and meet the wimpy chicken hawks. lying SBVT's and their AWOL commander head on!

He rearranges his staff. Brings on some more Clinton opertives and hacks. On Friday he boldly says..." I am not going to let Dick Cheney, a man with five deferments, qestion my fitness to serve..."

Everybody from the SBVT to the Bush Campaign was quivering in fear. Bush told the pilot of Airforce One not get within a hundred miles of Kerry's plane.

Then Jk got a call from a draft dodging, womanizing, dis-barred, lying under oath, impeached former President. He said simply, "stop talking about Vietnam."

Kerry could have said, "Thanks, but no thanks". But he said "Yes, sir." Saluted and blew him a kiss and has obeyed the order. Of course Mary Beth is trying to hide her "I-told-you-so-s-hole smirk". And she is probably being marginalized for her audacity.

This brings a question into focus, "Is Kerry his own man?" The evidence is NO!

Obviously Clinton is still the Dems chief puppeteer. Elect Kerry ad it will be Clinton directing policy.

And Clinton is showing the world that he is still in charge. He could have made the phone call in private - No one would know. But by making the phone call public, he has signaled to all that he is command.
