I always like the word Flibbertygibbet. It pretty much describes Kerry. _________________ Doc Ford

How about this one
Floccinaucinihilipilificate
Back in the eighteenth century, Eton College had a grammar book which listed a set of words from Latin which all meant “of little or no value”. In order, those were flocci, nauci, nihili, and pili (which sound like four of the seven dwarves, Roman version, but I digress). As a learned joke, somebody put all four of these together and then stuck –fication on the end to make a noun for the act of deciding that something is totally and absolutely valueless (a verb, floccinaucinihilipilificate, to judge a thing to be valueless, could also be constructed, but hardly anybody ever does). The first recorded use is by William Shenstone in a letter in 1741: “I loved him for nothing so much as his flocci-nauci-nihili-pili-fication of money”.
A quick Latin lesson: flocci is derived from floccus, literally a tuft of wool and the source of English words like flocculate, but figuratively in Latin something trivial; pili is likewise the plural of pilus, a hair, which we have inherited in words like depilatory, but which in Latin could meant a whit, jot, trifle or generally something insignificant; nihili is from nihil, nothing, as in words like nihilism and annihilate; nauci just means worthless. |

Who can forget Zell Miller's exhilirating speech at the Republican Convention in which he said Kerry is "Wrong...Wrong...Wrong..."? Kerry's campaign has now filched Zell's characterization in a reverse psych ploy against Bush. Maybe Zell will go on some shows and put the Kerry campaign thieves back in their box. |

Here's another one:
Flake
The President is coming to Huntington Friday
I would like to make a sign with a Large W on left side and 3 smaller words beginning with W extending out from the large W. Does that make sense?
Can anyone think of any good adjectives that begin with W that I could use?
I'm coming up blank.. _________________ Laura~ |

The Presidents middle initial is pronounced "Dubya" anyway. And his base will think "wrong" starts with an r...not a Dubya. All those years of government schools---heck, I almost thing it starts with "r"
John Forgin' Kerry.
Too funny.
Prediction time: Years from now, everyone will recall that John Forgin' Kerry was the candidate that was willing to forge documents-- CONTINUING HIS PATTERN of making stuff up, in order to make political hay. He will end this campaign in complete disgrace, and take several news agencies and their talking heads down with him when he goes. The fall-out will even extend to people like Daschel. I predict this election will be a landslide, on par with the Reagan-Mondale level.
Kerry is a pathological liar and political opportunist on a level that may actually make Clinton look like a piker. First he lies about his own record, then the president's record.
Another prediction: The Swift Boat Vets and Vietnam Vets Against Kerry will be utterly vindicated and will be credited with Bush's historic landslide victory. In the end it won't be all the career campaign strategists that won this for Bush, but a handful of Davids armed with a few rocks, the slingshot of truth, and dead aim.
You can then look for major backlash against 527's, so gear up for that battle. Someone better get the President straight on this issue, so he stops making noises like a politician. McCain is wrong on this issue as well.
I am a compassionate person, but I have no sympathy for Senator Kerry. Kerry is being Macbeth-ed by the ghosts of the veterans he betrayed. |
