Bill is absolutely right to point out this MSM double-standard.
If Pat Buchanan and Robert Novak signed on to the Bush campaign and tried to keep their spots on CNN..........what do you suppose would happen?

So here's Bill O'Reilly's pitch. I like Bush (he's up in the polls so he's my man at the moment). Yet I am attacked on the left, and yet I attack the Swift Boat Vets for Truth--and they are extreme right-wingers. Poor me. Pity me. Watch me. I'm in the middle Buy my stuff.
What a puke.
I already boycott Hardball for personal reasons. Even if Mr. O'Reilly were to embrace John O'Neil, The Factor has joined that list. |

RIGHT wingers???? that must be us....
Gore came out today against Bushs' 'faith'.... born again Christians (I'm'
one) are compared to the Islamic fanatics - the terrorists!
yeah, I think my Mom called me that once when I was a teenager!
wish I'd have remembered that when my daughter was a teenager ! she
got off easy.... maybe, I'll call her later.... 33 ain't to late to call her a
terrorist is it? |

He keeps teasing us about O'Neil, but he's probably going to have O'neil on last, just before he goes through the email and the ridiculous item of the day.
And Bill is calling the School terrorists exactly what they are: islamic fascists. Good for him. Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather and Peter Jennings still haven't done that.

On TV nobody has been harder on the French than B'OR.
He's got his good points. So he dropped the ball on the Swiftvets.
He could come around.
I believe this is the second time O'Neil has been on the show, so Bill must know what kind of organized guest John is.
coming up next!

I think that, regardless of what happened, O'Reilly thinks O'Neal upstaged him--hence his placement at the end of the show.
John will do the best possible under the circumstances...and Unfit for Command has already gotten a plug.
Here we go, into the Nonsense Zone. |

Respected? Well I guess maybe some do..I used to respect him, now I think he is an a##wipe. Even if he treats oneill fairly I will still think he is an a@@wipe. He lost all credibility with his ignorant smear of the swiftees. If he changes his mind its only because he has put his finger in the air to test the political winds... |
So do you lose respect for anyone that disagrees with you, or is it just something particular about how O'Reilly has gone about this? |
Bingo! He trashed the swiftees before reading the book and knowing the facts. I respect a lot of people that disagree with me, hell I have disagreed with oreilly for years...the fool buys into the global warming fantasy...but until the swiftvets issue, I thought he was reasonably fair. |
Did he say he never read the book? Never saw that one. |

He's been saying since last week that he was waiting to have John on until he gets a chance to read the book and do his own independent research. He has allegedly done both and now will have John on. |

Bill seemed pretty fair so far.
and he just decided to hold John over for another 5 minutes and bump a segment back with a soccer player.
He also admitted he thinks Kerry went over there with an agenda!

Not too bad so far, Bill is being reasonably fair, still trying to play up the Kerry was hero bit....Oneill is doing his usual great, holding steady and spewing out facts...more to come _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"
