Actually, I think you've put the cart before the horse. Mr. O'Neill has restored some crediblity to BOR. |
Right on the money! Both points. |

BOR said some stupid things but overall he was fair....Oneill once again stood tall and true..
After reading the book BOR has found out that his earlier stand was nonsense....for the most part _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"

Damn O'Neill is good with facts. Seemed like O'Reilly lost traction twice with O'Neills quick precise responses. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

1. Bill admitted he thinks Kerry inflated his medals. Concession #!
2. Bill admitted that Kerry acted terribly in his anti-war activity when he came home. Concession #2.
3. Bill admitted that Kerry should have apologized a long time ago for his comments about our boys in the 'Nam and said he will ask Kerry about this the next time he sees him. Concession #3.
4. Bill said he liked the book, and recommended that people read it and make up their own minds. Concession #4.
He did say that he didn't like how the 'idealogues' had used the book, but still endorsed it.

Cipher, you nailed it. O'Reilly was civil because he was so wounded.
I still have The Factor on my boycott list because of O'Reilly's past statements about the SBVT...but he at least read the damned book.

He had John on because he could not avoid it anymore and then tried to dance on the head of a pin. He used every opportunity to let Kerry off the hook! |

John O'Neill never ceases to amaze me! Talk about calm under fire.
BOR would have liked to stir him up, but no doin! He staid the course.

The thing that got me was that BOR was so nonchalant about the whole thing. Like it was no big deal what Kerry did. Ah, youthful indescretion...Lame response BOR. |

O'Reilly admitted that Kerry probably lied and inflated his medals. Now we have to inundate Bill with mail and talk about how INTEGRITY, HONESTY, TRUSTWORTHINESS are the traits that make a President. Not lying about medals to run away from your duty and your friends. |
The point that O'Reilly was making is that Kerry may have exaggerated a bit, yes. But all of the "he lied" charges will always just boil down to a matter of opinino, not provable by either side. |

Shoot!
I drifted momentarily and missed something about the most ridiculous idea of the day, something a reporter fabricated.
What was it this guy made up? I missed it!
