Notice all the new people the last three days! Methinks we are being mass trolled! There is no way that this many new veterans have found this site. A pro Kerry / Democratic / Liberal site has instituted a mass attack on this site!

Ignore all new people unless they send their DD214 to the moderators!

EJ's note: 20AUG04: War Dog was half-kidding here, at the time that he made this post - please note the date. We were being overrun with idiots at the time and he was not even a moderator at the time, so he was trying to get people to calm down and quit responding to trolls.

The troll posts have been removed for the most part, which is why War Dog's post seems odd - there were probably 100 troll posts removed in just a few days. So that's some history - no DD214's.

No documentation required unless your posts raise some "poser flags," in which case, you'll be asked to provide some dates of service, name and unit numbers. (Which will be kept completely confidential.) Otherwise, you are taken on your word - honor isn't just a word here. Wink

My comment wasn't meant towards honest and lawful Veterans like you. You can tell who the 'trolls' are by the hate in their posts. They start here from post one on the attack towards all that they disagree with. There are many here that are able to keep it civil.

with all the bashing going around and the total blindness to what's really happening in this world, maybe you extreamists should take a break and watch some CSPAN. Contact your Congressman or even the Secretary of the Veterans Administration about our Budget cuts. You are all so blinded, all this hate is what is ruining this country and dividing it. This is one of the reasons the WORLD does hate America. We as a country espcially Vets need to mend. We need to unite our fellow Americans not cowardly divide them with childesh pranks and posts. Please do yoursevles a favor and learn the truth and wake up to what is really going on. Starting by getting off this terrible tyrade bulletins and go learn what's happening in our country. cspan.org, washingtonpost.com, newyorktimes.com, cnn.com. Use reliable info, not propaganda. as Ronald Reagan said " Has the last 4 years bennefited you?"

As far as I'm concerned, Kerry deserted veterans back in 1971 with his lying testimony.

As for this influx of newbies, it appears to me to be a concerted effort to discredit swiftvets since they are getting some notariety. Moveon.org would be my first guess.

My job, on that island, on the DMZ, was made more difficult and more perilous by a scabrous, diseased spirit named Kerry, whose collaborationist efforts were later PRAISED by General Giap of the North Vietnamese Army, when Giap stated in no uncertain terms that the Tet Offensive had been a terrible, unreplaceable loss to the Communist VietNamese, but people like KERRY had transformed it into an American defeat, with the help of Cronkite and Kennedy.

For that, for Qerry's sworn, self-indicting testimony under oath before American Congress, for Qerry's medal-bashing, glory-hounding and lack of integrity, I choose to see him as unfit for Commander in Chief. I do not HATE him, he has not the power to get me to hate him.
