This isn't just "nuaced" votes, it's a campaign promise and release that proves that the Kerry people have been lying. _________________ American Conservative |

Carville was ripping into Miller this morning, saying he was duped, mistreated and taken advantage of by the RNC, did none of his own research or speech writing, will be remembered as a "crazy old coot," embarrassed, and "must have been shot up with something" to go on Imus and defend his speech, and spouted a lot of lies, half truths and unsupportable allegations.
One wonders if Imus or Carville would have the stones to say that to his face, or at least where he is in a position to respond. Why would anyone take the word of a paid-for, lying flack instead of an honorable Senator (probably the same reason they ignore 250+ honorable Swiftees for the word of one dishonorable Senator, a proven liar).
I know Miller was expecting this though, and can handle himself, but the ad hominem attacks by Carville were dispicable at best, and filthy lies at worst.
Two months to go. Never let up. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

This is just another desperate attempt to answer the truth with lies. Kerry's sophomoric defense is merely to hire hatchet men like Carville and Barnes, both of whom have their own baggage.
When they unjustifiably attack the current administration, we should answer with our message. Sign the Form 180. Admit your high crimes and misdemeanors. Apologize for your action in 1971. Apologize for your pitiful, shameful service in Vietnam. Resign your nomination. _________________ '58 Airedale HMR(L)-261 VMO-2 |

This week's "Left Media Buster" Award: "Get out of my face. If you are going to ask me a question, step back and let me answer. I wish we lived in the day where you could challenge a person to a duel...don't pull that kind of stuff on me." --Zell Miller responding to "Hardball's" Chris Matthews |

True that Mr. Miller probably can handle himself, but I'll bet he doesn't mind getting notes of appreciation from those - particularly veterans - who stood up and cheered as he spoke at the RNC. I haven't looked - he must have a web site or e-mail address where he's getting heaps of s**t from the outraged Kerry worshippers. I for one would like to do my part to balance that load - anyone know where to send thanks to him? |

I don't now exactly when this document was produced since it is undated. However, since it refers to the Reagan Administration as the the apparent present administration, I would assume it is around the '84 or '86 timeframe. We should be able to pin it down since kerry is obviously running for the Senate which only happens every 6 years. I know Zell Miller covered this in his speech, but the Democrats are claiming that he contorted the facts. This document clearly says that these really were kerry's views that he eventually acted upon. We need to get this document in from of the American public. Perhaps something like full page ads in a half-dozen newspapers across the country showing reproduced images of the document and a narrative pointing out the legislative treachery of the 80s that was really just a continuation of the political treachery first displayed before Congress in 71. Leopards and kerrys don't change their spots!

It would have been from Kerry's initial run for the Senate in 1984 against Ray Shamie. I worked on Ray's campaign, but to no avail. I cannot think of anything more frightening than putting this man in the White House. |

It was 1984, notice the first 3 paragraphs. He's saying the same stuff today. I got it from Powerline blog. I read blogs more now than news outlets. _________________ American Conservative |

You mean "millionaire businessman Ray Shamie..." (as per the Boston Globe)? I loved him. He and Reagan were the guys that originally got me interested in politics. Viva Shamie! |

MassInd:
You mean the "Globe Smear"?! I'm sure they've settled down now that they're owned by the NYT. I always loved that they never called Kerry a "millionaire politician". Re: Reagan and Shamie, me too. Those were fun campaigns. |
