Here is a copy of the email I sent to 60 Minutes II.

Dear Sirs:

I understand that you will be airing an interview with Ben Barnes in an effort to shed additional light on President Bush's wartime military service. I generally applaud journalistic efforts to force our political officials to answer tough questions. However, I must say that I find it terribly disturbing that you have not conducted similar efforts in forcing Senator Kerry to answer questions regarding his Vietnam service. It has now been over 35 days since the Swift Boat accusations have been made public and the Senator has not been interviewed on a single news program to answer such questions.

The news media is already tainted with the public's impression of being wildly biased, and your quick actions to run an interview questioning the President's National Guard Service while Senator Kerry has not been asked a single question by ANY network media regarding his Vietnam service is quite astounding and merely reinforces the public's increasingly negative image of your show and others.

Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and other Veteran organizations have publicly made serious allegations about Senator Kerry's service and record.

1. Did a relative of the Senator receive a multi-million dollar contract from communist North Vietnam to build a deep water port, after Senator Kerry cleared the way (via the POW/MIA senate investigation which Kerry chaired) for President Clintons effort to normalize trade with Vietnam?

2. Has the Senator apologized for his accusations that US servicemen were routinely engaged in War Crimes? Does his voting record as a Senator reflect his new sentiment regarding war and defense matters?

3. If the Senator witnessed war crimes, give us the names of those who perpetrated and ordered those crimes so justice can be served! Why did the Senator stay involved with the Vietnam Veterans Against the War AFTER it's leader was discovered to be a fraud having never served in Vietnam?

4. The Senator's campaign has said that the Swift Boat Veterans are liars and have been discredited. If these Veteran's are not telling the truth then why has the Senator refused to sign Form 180 and release all his military records, including his military medical records? Won't his complete records help to demonstrate the truthfulness of the Senator's and Veteran's claims?

I long for the days of my youth when my family looked forward to watching 60 minutes every week. I recall having great respect for Mike Wallace and the others, seeing them as real journalists covering stories nobody else dared. Regretfully, those days have been gone long, long ago. 60 Minutes and other programs have worked very hard to destroy the trust viewers like me, once had in them. Thankfully, we now have the internet along with other sources who have more journalistic integrity than you now exhibit.

Sounds like this whole story is blowing up in CBS's face.

Listening to Mark Levin tonight, had Monica Crowley on from a talk show she was hosting this AM., had Barne's daughter call in and said her father (who she said that she loved) lied on national TV and was acting as an opportunist.

Then, later, from the AP, Levin said that the son of Bush's commander, Kinney, debunked the records being taken from his home files. He said that his father never brought any official files home.

Along with the "mysterious" fonts on the paperwork, could be CBS just may lose it's sponsors through it's own scandalizing.

WOW!!! CBS 60 minutes are really going to loose all credibility if they do find that these documents were forged.

But they are still looking into these documents....wonder if it will go by the wayside like the Sandy Berger story did.

Keep up the e-mails. Did read that BOR received over 400 e-mails from "right winger"...at least he did not call us nuts like he did the 2nd to the last time I watched him...I did turn in to see John O'Neill. So e-mails will make them pay attention.
