				| I ran across this today on C-Span & Buzz Patterson websites:
 9/09/04 - 9pm -- Dennis Miller Show
 JOHN O’NEILL & Buzz Patterson *

9/12/04 - 10:00 a.m. EST --C-Span2 (Book TV) Featured Program: JOHN O’NEILL and Lt. Col. Robert “Buzz” Patterson, Unfit for Command and Reckless Disregard.

 9/12/04 - 5:30 p.m. EST --C-Span2 [repeat/same show as at 12:00 p.m. EST]

 9/13/04 - 12:00 a.m. EST --C-Span2 [repeat/same show as on 9/12]

*Buzz and John will appear on the Dennis Miller Show (MSNBC) on Sept 9 and address the Commonwealth Club (San Francisco), the San Francisco Chronicle and the Citizens for Responsible Government on Sept. 10th.

From Buzz’s website: ..Lt. Col. Robert “Buzz” Patterson--who carried the nuclear “football” for Pres. Clinton--in …Reckless Disregard, broadens his scope to show how for the last 40 yrs. there has been a dangerous disconnect that has resulted in the failures of the Vietnam War (begun & micro-managed by liberals); the numerous foreign policy embarrassments of the Carter admin. in Asia, Africa, and Central America; & the fecklessness of the Clinton yrs., recounted in painful detail, which left terrorism appeased & severely undercut America’s defense & intelligence capabilities. Col. Patterson’s verdict: liberal dems are wasteful of American military lives, do not know how to use the military & have committeed themselves to policies that are inimical to America’s nat’l. security.

				| Started reading Lt. Col. Robert "Buzz" Patterson's book Reckless Disregard today. Am half way through and would recommend it highly as a must read book.

Go to c-span.org -- under "C-Span Series - Book TV" and check out the menu for options (believe they archive 2 mos.). Here's their online link:

				| It should be coming on in a minute. BTW, unfortunately Dennis Miller is next to last in the ratings. Only beating McEnroe. _________________

				| Off topic, yet related: In looking again at the C-Span schedule to get the facts right on O’Neill’s appearance, I note there is another book review on that day: George McGovern will talk about his book: “The Essential America: Our Founders and the Liberal Tradition.”
Yeah, this man understands the “essential America” -- I have not forgotten April, 1971:

“At the Foreign Relations Committee hearing, the veterans gave a standing ovation to McGovern when he accused all American forces in Indochina of war crimes.”

[vincentc, I do not understand your post -- I have this info at the top of the thread...] -?
