Would one of you guys explain what is wrong with my sign above?
If I type swiftvets.com into my browser, this site opens. If I type in www.swiftvets.com the same thing of course. I'm not clear on what's
wrong with what the sign says, I definately DON'T want my signs
sending folks to a anti-swiftvets site!

Thanks, Sue Laughing

Typically you can use or not use the "www-dot". The "dot-org", "dot-com", "dot-net" parts are different domains. I wish swiftvets.com had registered dot-org and dot-net as well.

Too late now, though. Sad

jwb7605,

I was worried about that king of thing too. That's why I registered swiftboatveteransfortruth.com and .org and forwaded them here. Smile

We're all doing what we can.

Keep going with the ads - they are making a huge impact. I, too, just
got my copy and am already planning on buying more to send to family
and friends. My children have no conception of what the Vietnam Era
meant to us. To keep the ads going, keep sending in the bucks. I have
never ever given money to any political org but gave 1 hundred bucks to
Swiftvets. These men put their lives on the line back then, now they
have once more put themselves in the line of fire. Kerry and the media's
treatment of them shows just how much Kerry "admires" the men who
served in Vietnam, most of all himself, and how the media is willing to take the word of a politician and his henchman over men of honor.
If Sixty Minutes, Dateline, 20-20, ect. were really interested in getting to
the truth why haven't they given the Swiftvets the time of day?

Some people I know are just now starting to read the book. Just because it's not on msm does'nt mean people are'nt talking about it.

Just gave more money. This issue isn't going away because Kerry doesn't know how to make it go away - certainly not with the stupidity of attacking Bush on the National Guard and the VP for his deferments - all of which just put us right back to 35 years ago and drawing attention to what Kerry was saying and doing at the time.

.....Maybe there is enough room to mock some of the media for their brain-killing levels of liberal-bias in a future Swifty ad?

Well, this latest re-fascination with Bush's Guard service just ensured that the Swift Boat Veterans' message won't die any time soon. Thank you lefties. Thank you media. Shocked Cool Wink Razz

THE BEST WAY TO ENSURE THAT THIS MESSAGE WON'T GO AWAY IS TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION. ANY AMOUNT COUNTS!! Wink

Is the Swift Boat Issue losing steam with the public?

This issue may be losing steem. However, they have all ready made a significant difference, especially among vets. I believe any further contribution by the swift vets will have only marginal effects. This is not to say they should stop! The margins may turn out to be quite critical.

Two things.

a) More focus on Bush's service will mean more focus on Kerry's service. I think that's unavoidable now.

b) I still think you Swiftees have something more up your sleeve.

I, personally, think that you guys aren't finished by a long shot. Keep up the great work. And thank God for Drudge, Rush, Hannity, Novak, Blankley, Coulter, and all of the others. Without them, the Swiftees would have been screaming at the wind. Cool

A memo posted by the DNC to local new agencies in the DC and VA area encouraged them to help discredit the swiftboat vets by NOT publishing any stories that address the issues covered in the book. Instead the tactic they urged was to state that the book had been debunked and was totaly untrue. The request seems to have worked. None of the outlets I contacted today "saw any need" to give publicity to a "republican fringe group."

So much for an unbias press

But they sure saw the need to give publicity to a partisan Democrat from Texas, or a campaign started by that lovely group calling themselves "Texans for Truth". Shocked

Yet, even with all this media cheerleading for Kerry, he's still sinking in the polls.

Just today, he's crying and lying yet again about the attacks made against him by Bush/Cheney.

And this guy wants to lead America? Yeah right.... Laughing
