I watched the dedicated (and increasingly excited) people on this site examine, disect and build their evidence against the forged 'records' until 0330 hours this morning when I was sure they'd cracked it, and spread the message far and wide. What a buzz!
Congratulations to you all. Great job!!!
According to the New York Post your efforts amount to a "populist revolution against the main stream media". Think they'll wake up now?

Drudge reports that CBS now has an internal investigation underway. If the documents are proved a forgery (as we already know they are) they will issue an "apology". I think it needs to be taken much further than that. Since some super people on this Forum broke this story. I think the Swiftvets ought to demand that 60 minutes give them EQUAL TIME to counter all the lies and distortions that have been used to distort the truth. The Swiftvets need to be allowed to show the MSM what real research is and be allowed to show the inconsitencies in the Kerry records that we all know exist. GO GET'EM SWIFTEES!

CBS is going to try and backtrack and cover up - I suspect they will try and drop as many hints as possible it was a Republican plot; they will not stop shilling for the Democrats. The animal is wounded, but still dangerous.

Someone refresh my memory...but wasn't it CBS a couple years ago who released other innacurate/false documents in regards to the Catholic Church, which they had to retract and apologize for?
I know it was a major network....just thinking it was CBS who dropped the ball there as well.

Swift Boat Vets publish truthful accounts of Kerry's exploits debunking
lies told by same and accepted by MSM.
Truth spreads like wildfire.....
MSM counters by reporting on forged documents which are untrue.
I wonder if Kerry's parents ever told him the downside of
telling lies? |

| Up to this point, CBS has been "protecting their source" in regards to these forged documents...once CBS is forced to accept that they are indeed forgeries, it would seem that their right to protect the source collapses...I think we all have a right to know who is behind this illegal scheme! |

There's more stuff that is coming out as people start to backtrack and shift blame. The Prowler (at http://www.spectator.org . . . server unavalable at this moment has this interesting tidbit (which I got from Instapundit):

The CBS producer said that some alarms bells went off last week when the signatures and initials of Killian on the documents in hand did not match up with other documents available on the public record, but producers chose to move ahead with the story. "This was too hot not to push. If there were doubts, those people didn't show it," says the producer, who works on a rival CBS News program. |

Yes, a republican plot to expose just how incompetent CBS, 60 Minutes, Dan Rather and the MSM are. The plot was successful.
If a nefarious plot by an ex-wife exposes an airline pilot as drunken and incompetent, would you take an international flight with that pilot?
