Going to be bringing our children (ages 12, 14 and 17) and several of their friends. I have been amazed by these teens, they are all becoming political, in large part due to the 'blame America first' crowd. The attacks on the SwiftBoat Vets for Truth has really upset these kids, and motivated them to become invloved. Even though many of them come from families that support Kerry too!

I am leaving for DC in about two hours.

My son just gave me an update. They have at least 70 kids going (as a group) from American University. No numbers from the other scholls but they had 300 people (from other DC schools) at their meeting the other night, so the number of DC college kids should be well over 100.

This is so heart-warming, to read about all of you who are managing to go to the RALLY!!!

I've been visiting this site for months (and donating, too!), but haven't said anything yet (how did I manage that?), but shall do so now.

I've been incensed ever since I was standing in front of our TV and heard the ugly long face say those words! My better half (I like to make him feel good) was TDY, of course, to SEA and other points west. I've been unable to talk about the War Hero(tm) j. kerry (no caps intentional) ever since without feeling huge anger towards his deliberate actions to discredit all service men (and women), and was delighted to join this group effort to show the rest of the world what true military people think of this fake.

I'm so, so disappointed we can't JOIN the Rally! We must be in Jacksonville, FL for a Grandparents Day at our (only) grandson's Christian school, and this day is very important to the kids, a big event, and he's looking forward to having grandparents "come for him, too". It looks like we'll need to go over there just to evacuate from Hurricane IVAN, too, so things look kinda "windy" here.

But, I'm so glad to have a place to go to so we can sign up our support for the Swift Vets. Thank God for the Swift Vets. Can you believe how close the War Hero(tm) almost came to pulling this off? Scary, that.

Godspeed to all who go, and we SHALL watch you on TV until we need to... well, speed east ourselves. Drive-Fly safely and catch us all up with reports when y'all get home.

We probably all have issues about some of President Bush's various actions, nobody agrees with anybody else all the time. When you look at the whole picture, what you can plainly see is that President Bush is a flawed man and Senator Kerry is a FRAUD.

Looks like the pro-Kerry people are already attempting to disrupt the speaker. Confused

They're drowning out the protesters with "Kerry lied while good men died!"

Those protesters are allowing the speaker to begin that chant. Smile

Man, B. G. Burkett is hammering CBS and Dan RAthER for their bias - which began with fraudulent reporting about Vietnam veterans a LONG time ago.

"John Kerry declared war on us."

"He wants us to be loyal to him and stand up with him? HELL NO!"

"The man betrayed us - he doesn't know the meaning of loyalty, and now, we're going to take the war to him!"

WOW - what an event -- if only I could have been there!! Just an incredible program and a great crowd!! -- c-span only had it slotted for 2 hrs and I was worried they were going to cut it off -- but they let it keep running for its almost 3 hours! Such great talks, I am just overwhelmed ... thank you, thank you all for being there and standing together!! I was surprised to see John O'Neill... and with his comment "it's nice to be among friends," I was happy for him to have such a crowd to address -- to actually and in reality be among friends, after all the fire he has taken out in the hostile media.

For everyone there, all the speakers and for the crowd, it was a wonderful event that will stay with me for a long time. Your signs were absolutely fabulous! and your voices were heard!! Again, THANK YOU for having this gathering and for speaking out -- your voices belonged on prime time for the entire nation to hear .... that would have happened if we didn't have corrupt media -- hopefully they will go down along with kerry. BRAVO!! Thank you -- thank you all.
